Would love if it was Blood Bowl related as that was about the only specialist game not previewed this year so far. I've heard so many rumours about what is coming for Blood Bowl from so called experts but nothing about a duck.

Nah, you've got to give them rules otherwise poor Redditors will get confused seeing something on a sprue that there aren't rules for. I swear, if I see one more post about those bloody shrine pieces on various Eldar/DE aspect warrior sprues and people not understanding they are just for decoration I'm gonna scream.

Will you scream when the eldar codex inevitably makes them into once-per-game tokens like DA watchers / GSC familars / Grots / Bomb squigs?

Hehe probably not the right place for this but I admit to having used the little plastic animals from inside Kinder Surprise Eggs as mascots, fans, players, mercs, game pieces in games of Blood Bowl the little crocodile suits the Gutter Bowl sewer nicely! Mind you Blood Bowl is a fun, not to be taken too seriously game.

But yeah there's animals already out there. Actually GW already do quite a few animals now just not all together. There's a number of dogs from various games and birds too, crabs, fish even a monkey from that Ogre pirate UW band.

So people really think this duck is from a second halfling BB team, or a Bretonnian BB team or a UW warband?

yeah, i'm not expecting more than a character for custodes, and it seems like orks are in a good place right now as far as models are concerned, so they don't need anything huge. but a smaller model release after the DA codex makes sense. as a custodes there isn't much i want right now other than every single forge world model in plastic

a melta spear upgrade sprue would be nice, tho. that's my pie in the sky dream for this reveal, a melta captain and a melta upgrade sprue

Custards could do with a tank and Dread that isn’t just a Very Shiny Brick. And with Heresy, in terms of economic investment it makes more sense than ever.

as someone who loves birds and birdwatching, all this reveal is doing is making me hope the full miniature is just a goose, nothing else.
