Still confused it's not already April?

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Is this for real?

I mean, hilariously awesome. And also lore friendly. But power wash simulator?

Whatever floats your boat I guess. Would not have figured that for a game people would play.

Okay, I was 100% prepared to be "that guy" and hate this, but that trailer is fantastic. A+, no notes.

Yes, it's a clever commercial. The only thing that would have made it better is if it they had used a mechanicum-style mechanical voice for the narrator instead of a human voice.

Yeah. Some of the devs behind these sorts of games enjoy the odd-ball stuff. For example, after Cooking Simulator got done with the Patisserie DLC and the Pizzeria DLC, the devs released a Fallout-style post-apocalyptic DLC. Why? Why not? If a player doesn't like it, and just wants to stick to the "pure" cooking, they don't need to buy the DLC. But if you do like it, it's more goofy fun.

Gone-to-ground in the craters of Coventry

My Monday group is all over this one. We sometimes play PowerWash Simulator for a couple of hours, hosing down Lara Croft's trophy room, or Doc Brown's DeLorean (not done that one yet, but it's lined up).
Being all-sort gamers, this is us all over.

My 12yo was horrified that "an awesome game like Power Wash Simulator" would do this. I don't even know what to say to that, lol.

I kind of like this. I can see it working. Even if I couldn't have before watching the trailer.

Maybe we'll see a 40K expansion for Flight Simulator next?

That was my impression as I thought someone accidentally posted their April Fool's video early.

Funnily enough Powerwash Simulator is partly responsible for me getting back into Warhammer. I was playing the game and decided to listen to some Warhammer lore podcasts while I played, and before you know it I was buying more models.

It's a great game though. Kind of strangely therapeutic. I'll definitely grab this DLC.

It's got the Pelican from Halo, and that thing isn't *that* much more aerodynamic than some of the Imperial craft.
