Well one thing I must say is that I'm logging on a lot more to see if the entries are up!

Better to sit quietly and look the fool than to open your mouth and confirm the fact!

I just want to see the conversions people did. Black is cool and all, and is a nice exercise for practice, but I'm willing to bet some of us went to the bit box to make it interesting.

The petulant child in me is at the level of banging fists on a table, complete with chanting and threats of devolving into a full scale tantrum.

The reasonable adult reminds me that we were given extra days (weeks even) to paint up our models, and so we should return the favor of leniency and patience.

Hear, hear. Especially when said individual went out of his way to make this whole thing happen for no other reason then to put on something cool for everyone else. He even offered to pay for the prize (which wasn't necessary)! But yes, I'm sure he's trying his best to get things posted, but it takes some time to reformat pictures, crop them, etc.

They will come eventually!

Honestly? He had me at Wolfenstein Hitler.

I hadn't even considered that he would have to resize images.
1000x800 pixels is relatively small compared to say, the standard resolution of an iPhone camera.

I've spent the last two hours voting in the gallery just so I can look at a picture and vote on it.

I encourage you all to do the same, it's working for me anyway.

I think this is what got people all antsy after the deadline.....

"5.) The day after the deadline, all the entries will be presented for all of Dakka to see!......"

And in the rules it clearly says....

"Pics of your model may be either 1000x800 pixels or 800x1000 pixels"

So there should be NO cropping/resize needed. Easy fix; can't read the rules, disqualified.

NOTE: I have visited this thread like 200 times since the deadline and felt compelled to write something
