That was because Halo zone is beyond Astromonicon and Guardsmen didn't want to go outside the reach of "Emperor's light".

The universe has many horrors yet to throw at us. This is not the end of our struggle. This is just the beginning of our crusade to save Humanity. Be faithful! Be strong! Be vigilant!

It's not wise to enter an area near a black hole. That's why the Macharian Crusade ended. I mean even the ultimate man and creature Empy himself would be consumed by one I think. Nevermind normal men.

I'm more than happy not to know pretty much all that has been canonically hidden from view. Mystery is fun and the problem with finding out is it might be gak. The Horus Heresy books are a great example of a mythical, mysterious event in the canon being turned into a convoluted soap opera, some of it great, some of it awful.

Oh What a Lovely War.

Before anyone says "It -is- cloning"... No. No. No. It is never stated as being cloning, it's left to the imagination, which is probably for the best, but I would love to know whether it -is- cloning, perhaps accelerated gestation cycle, vat grown humans? Might be two dozen other options or variations on those ones, but I'd be intrigued to know.

That's a rip off from the Axlotl Tanks from the Dune books. So, read the Dune books by Frank Herbert - not the ones his idiot son Brian wrote.

------------

If you really want to know most of what hasn't been outright stated in the 40k universe all you have to do is read a selection of Sci-Fi pulp from the last 60 odd years. Names like Asimov, Herbert, Heinlein, Bradbury, Haldeman, Card and Clarke. All top notch writers with fantastic stories; and if you want IMHO the absolute best power armor book written then read Armor by Steakley.

Basically, GW's writers have stolen and borrowed a LOT from those sources. Which is not a bad thing.

I have been thinking about doing just that in all honesty. Anyway back on topic. I want to learn what the Schola's curriculum is and I want to know how the Titan Princeps are trained.

Already sold too many dreadnought models. 2nd Edition players remember when the models were new, and an assault cannon was a krak missile launcher with 3 sustained fire dice.

Seems fairly obvious. It's an artificial womb that allows them to grow human beings based on egg and sperm samples without requiring the actual participants to be involved in the baby making process.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

He died. Sigismund tripped over his shoelaces, fell down some stairs and landed on his sword. Just because it doesn't say how he died doesn't mean he didn't.

I- for one, want to know the deal with the C'tan. Did the dragon get shattered, or is he still in one piece, sleepin' away on mars? Is the outsider still whole? Is the outsider still in his dyson sphere outside the galaxy? And, if so, what would be the impact of a full-fledged, full power C'tan on the current 41st millennium? I mean, the war in heaven was essentially a clash among gods, which the necrons only won because the remaining C'tan were weakened. After a 60 million year nap, the outsider- who, may I remind- has eaten and absorbed OTHER C'tan, decides to come back, how f**ked is everyone?

But is it? Can you find me some quotes that show that this -is- what it -is-. We can have suspicions, and in my personal opinion it is essentially artificial insemination or sperm & egg combined scientifically or something similar, but is the vitae womb a living woman whose sole purpose is to be impregnated again and again and again and again and again with no other purpose, or is it a servitor, is it a tube, is a massive vat in which multiple humans are born & raised? Is it an accelerated gestation period? If so how long is it? When is the human removed from the vitae womb? Is it when they're a baby? Infant? Child? Teenager? Is the person subjected to an accelerated growth from embryo to baby to infant to whenever they're taken out? What are the side effects of this if any? Are there any psychological/physical after effects, any distinct emotional/physical traits?

Just saying 'well it's probably this' hardly answers a fraction of the questions that could be asked about the vitae womb. Hence why I'd want to know exactly what, why, how etc about the process.

This is all in the latest Codex: Necron.

On Nimbosa, cramming as many guardsmen into troop carriers as possible.

Whether the star child theory is true, is the void dragon under mars, will the imperium ever technologically advance, whether purple is the best color for ork vehicles (red ones go fasta, blue ones are more lucky, red+blue=purple).
