Latest order arrived so using my new glue to put a bunch of things together, and working away at my Wookiees and Rebel Troopers for Legion. Getting there, gearing up for a big batch of basing next week once the current lot are all painted.

Finished up a unit of shield breakers for my Mantic dwarfs.

Also swapped out one troop's rifles for crossbows, so that I have the dwarf sample list in the Kings of War 3rd edition free rules.
Now to get the orcs too!

That’s what I did as well. It was the last one I had left. Mine turned out well. I’m doing the termies one at a time because I find the color scheme to be so tedious. Getting one fully done seems to keep me more engaged than batch painting.

Panted up a unit of Mantic sharpshooters, just 10 brock riders and on artillery crew dwarf left before I call my dwarfs done.
The box is full and I have enough to try out various builds in even big games.

175 Manitic dwarfs; with 12 mastiffs, 21 badgers, 3 war engines and 1 giant mechanical ram.

Decided to use a spare 3rd edition Banshee Exarch as an Autarch.

I put together and painted some Roman temple columns and a pedestal from Hirst Arts just to try it out, and trying to figure out a good scheme.

Leftmost is black spray primer, and one dry brush of applebarrel’s pewter grey and and one dry brush of granite gray.

Middle is just light grey primer and dry brush of apple barrel granite grey

And the pedestal is a base coat of apple barrel pewter grey and a dry brush of granite.

I prefer the easier one of light grey and granite, but people say the pedestal is more natural.

Almost finished a unit of Wookiees and my second set of Rebel Troopers, which puts me closer to having a fully painted Legion army. Planning to finish them in the next day or 2 and get into some Malifaux
