Weather and work are conspiring to prevent me painting or photographing anything today.

Spent the last 2 days finishing off enough of my Yan Lo crew that it's ready to be played in this weekend's leg of the local slow grow, but also pushing ahead and trying to get the rest of the crew done as well. I also finished the 3 Batman models I got from Black Friday to keep me at fully painted.

Started work on the 1st model in my Stormdrake Guard PtG force.

Working on some halflings now.

I like them, but is it half as much as they deserve?

Just finished relieving my bank account of some spare funds.
With prices soon to rise there wasn't any better time to get around to filing that FW order....

Worked on four old metal Howling Banshees last night.

Going to take photos of the five metal Van Saars I finished.

Finished painting some Retributors that have been half-painted on my desk for over a year. Now to finish one more dude for the unit and I'm well on my way to finish project #1 or the year

Finally magnetizing my Talos/Cronos forces bases for easier transport.
You'd think I would've done this way sooner than near the end of the project.....

Painting some Saxon Huscarls!

I spent a couple of hours taking pictures of the feudal world Imperial Guard army I started during lockdown. It it not fully painted as there are several squads left to go before the brigade is complete, but considerable progress has been made. Then added some of the photos to my P&M thread.

I've been making use of various models that have been hanging around in the pile of shame, in some cases for decades.

I'm giving my halfings some stylish purple pants.

They deserve them.

I spent over 2 hours cutting out and putting shield + barding decals on my knights. I hate it all. The decals don't quite fit the shields. Getting the barding decals fit on the cloth folds is a massive pain. I tried one surcoat decal and gave up on them.

Finished my Retributors. Might actually get around to painting all my Stormcast. I seem to be on a roll.

I have 9 more Liberators, another 5 Retributors which I might just hunt for bits to turn into either Decimators or Protectors, and 5 more Judicators.

Trying to edit youtube video stuff after work. Didnt expect to work last weekend + now its valentines day.

Trying to get some hobby work done on my tyranids past midnight if I can

Sally 4th started today their “Goblin Civil War” miniatures and ruleset KS, inspired by the Spanish Civil War (!), so I figure I’d post some of their “old school” Cafe Americana miniatures, based on various movies you can ask your grandpa about.

Eyes were “painted” with a 005 pen, and I fiddled with blacklining either with Secret Weapons Miniatures grey Concrete, or a 005 pen. Wasn’t sure if I should have used sidewalk or flooring for the bases, so left them black.

Not exactly Warhammery but you can see how a 005 pen worked for blacklining vs. a grey wash for the figures in white. Figures in grey have a black wash for blacklining. Mebbe I'll try a dark wash to blackline white figures next.

Tried hand basecoating the base but the sand and cork dring too much paint, have to wait till morning to spray it.

I love that Fire Giant model. Nicely done!

I have an itch to paly some WHFB so I'm making a list of stuff I need to finish painting/touching up.

Also organizing my hobby room, I have so much crap lying around I need to get rid of.
