Wednesday: Played in the HeroClix Avengers vs X-Men event, Avengers whooped some butt! and I went 2-1 (lost to a really tough list round 2)
Thursday: Taught Ramos Asura and his brother how to play Warmachine and Hordes, not sure how well that went, I feel like there was information overload. Also taught them X-Wing
Friday: Playing Warmahordes with my buddies, I've been playing my trolls recently, but I might bust out my all Jack Khador list (it's not amg beatface, but it is a lot of hit boxes)

Finish off paint the carapace black on my Flyrant, only instead of buying abaddon black, i bought imperial primer. I dun goofed up

Repainting my stripped Valkyrie, for the third time in the last 3 years...

Digging up broken and unassembled WHFB miniatures. It's time for me to get back into Fantasy.

Also working on the wings for my daemon prince (if I can ever find out if they should be red or blue) and hopefully getting part of a killa kan finished.

Looking into another modeling project. I'll probably finish my enforcers but that's all if deadzone I'll be seeing for awhile yet. Either some forge fathers or maybe that mantic/gw hybrid undead army I've been considering.

Probably update my Infinity Painting blog with some recent stuff I finished up.
After that, I might work on finishing up my other Choir of Menoth unit.

Why is it projects always seem to take forever?

So far today I have finished the sponsons for my Land Raider. I only started them a week ago. I need more free time.

Played a game of zombicide today. Heliport mission and Jason Statham, I mean "Rick", racked up a kill count of over 100 zombies. We played ultrared mode and he ended up finding the 911 and my friend found Jack and Jill. He wasn't out of orange, so I hung onto it for a bit and used the two setups to lay waste to anything short of an abomination. Nothing could touch me.

Not sure I followed all of that, but it sounds like it was fun


Hoping to move the rest of my hobby stuff to the new house today, and get it sorted as time allows.

Packing up some stuff to paint at the misses parents since we will be there a week or two.

Zombicide characters are varying actors given new names. I had the Jason Statham character, and with the weapons he snagged, he shot over 100 zombies by himself. Most characters only make it to around 45 kills at best. That was my personal best before today. The way your score card is laid out, you can have up to 43 kills, then start over to collect new abilities you didn't get earlier. Statham lapped all the other characters.

I played a game of dystopian wars earlier and lost a pretty close game. Now I'm messing around with my dead zone scenery... And struggling with it.

Getting back into painting - going to slog through some more work on these hateful bloody Mantic Ogre Shooters. Might also set up my G&G paint racks that just arrived and try to talk my wife into helping me do some painting...

Really looking forward to a few days off work, and relaxing by doing some painting. Starting by painting an Xmas present (a display piece, plinth ready but now I have to paint the miniature itself!)

Building two boxes of Thunderwolf Cavalry, need to flesh out that Apocalypse formation already got 90 Fenrisian Wolves (waiting to be painted :()

Painting the last of my Beasts of Nurgle later, and starting in on my new GUO i got for Christmas.

Magnetising my Raven Guard Shadow Captain / Shadow Master using a Captain Korvydae model, a head from Anvil Industry and weapons from the new plastic Vanguard Veteran boxes.

I now have magnetised options for...

jump pack
chainsword
power sword
power axe
pair of lightning claws
power fist
thunder hammer
relic blade / Burning Blade
storm shield / Shield Eternal
bolt pistol
plasma pistol
grav pistol

I've magnetised them at the shoulders and wrists, so I can mix and match weapons as much as I like.

Relic Blade and storm shield...(can upgrade to the relics)...
Power fist and storm shield...
Thunder Hammer and storm shield...
Pair of Lightning claws...
Power fist and lightning claw combo...
power axe...power sword...chainsword... and any type of pistol...

Finishing up writing rules and meeting my deadline. Feels great.

Putting some finishing touches on my FW GUO, as well as hitting the internet shops to look at/possibly get some new projects heading this way...

Top of the list are some of those new Convergence minis for Warmachine, and after that would probably be some Mierce stuff, not entirely sure though.

Finished cleaning a custom brss figure made for me by a friend, now my Beastmen army is complete!

i'm currently debating between starting the paint on some deadzone stuff, or just relaxing for a while before calling in a night early

Moved the larger majority of my hobby dungeon, but now I've got to unload it. I did find my missing enforcer torso though!

Played a game with Whalemusic and Ramos Asura, before the Chuck Norris character died, he had gone through his card twice, and had hit orange on his third time through... He had a chainsaw early on...
