On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Starting to build a new table! Already ordered the 'Mat-o-war' for the table coverage. Going to be a 6x4 to represent France, 1944 at 15mm for Flames of War.

Spent the last few days trawling terrain suppliers on the internet and ready to make an order today. Includes some lovely little wooden buildings from '4ground' (http://www.4ground.co.uk/Default.aspx?page=302), various accessories from Plastic Soldier company (their 'Mainly military' range) (http://theplasticsoldiercompany.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=5_47_48) and TSS Scenics (http://totalsystemscenic.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1048)

Been reading up on the fighting that took place in Normandy, seen plenty of photos and looked at some of the terrain made by others on the internet - now think I'm ready, is likely to be at least a 3-4 month project so wish me luck!

I'm going to be painting some fireforge man-at-arms and fixing up their shields some.

I'll also be trying to figure out how to change the pose of the new infinity Oznat. I hate that female knock kneed pose so so much. Do women really stand around like that? Or run like that?
It's just the one thing that makes me hate looking for female miniatures.

I refurbished an old Rogue Trader Predator that had some holes in it, and some really old, dried milliput on it (at least I think that's what it was), and I built a RT Rhino to compliment the RT Rhino & RT Rhino/Razorback that I got with those two vehicles.

Now to put some Minotaurs iconography on them and they should be ready for painting... Now if I can just figure out how to paint my minotaurs

Started Phase two of assembling my second riptide. Have the legs done (in a crouching pose, was much harder than i thought it was going to be, had to do it in a ton of steps), and wrapped up the torso / head / jetpack construction.

Just have the arms left, weapons and small details left. Kind of flip-flopping on if i want to take the time to magnetize the guns or not. EDIT: Durr... and the base. Definitely gotta plan out the base, which is the part of construction i agonize over the most.

Wanted to assemble some more witch elf / death cult assassins, and finish my Horgenhold Forgeguard / Warrior Acolyte with plasma gun conversion (so, a squat in an inquisitorial retinue ), but real life got in the way and had to do some repair work on a door to the house. Ah well.

I've actually put in a little mileage on my second enforcer today. Gotta sneak away when the toddler isn't watching and get in a good minute or two before she comes running. It's getting things done... slow but steady and all that.

That model is on my paint table primed and ready to paint. I like it quite a bit, but he remains there because I'm not exactly sure how to paint him.

I just got in the Marauders and Rebs starter and a scenery pack in today at lunch, so I will probably be working on that this evening. Looking forward to it.

I went for a look based on Boba Fett, with green armour, grey-blue fatigues and dark metal. It works well on the mini, and I also went for a semi-glass effect on the visor which came out quite nicely as well.

I had a lot planned, there was a deathguard on a 40mm scenic base I was gonna get started on, as well I have an Avatars of War daemonette I want to mount on another scenic base, some new infinity stuff that just showed up (along with an artbook I am hoping will inspire me to pick a damn colour for my faction) and some other stuff.

Unfortunately it is too damn hot and I'll probably get none of it done :(

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

I figured out which limbs went with which monstrous creatures, which sounds easy until you take them out to do it and realize that you have at least 15 magnetized TMCs with several loadouts for each one.

Turned out well though! I only have two 'oddball' models, which have one wrong polarity joint in each. I may carve out the magnet, but one of them is a metal Tyrant, so I don't know.

Happy!
