Nice. Is that a Welsh Corgi? I also like your terminator scheme

No painting/modeling today, but I think I have settled upon the Iron Hands as the chapter my soon-to-be-reworked marines force will emulate. I've got too many vehicles to not want to take them, and the chaptermaster beatstick sounds amusing.

Time to work up some lists.

Yes, my avatar is Magnum, the biggest and dumbest of my five Corgis >:3
He's part Vahlhund, hence why he's on the bigger side and has a thirst for animal murder.

But thanks for the input on the terminators. They're Post-Horus Heresy Soul Drinkers.

I'm painting my dindrenzi today in prep for a tourney this sunday. Doing a similar scheme to my already finished old ships but making the new ones a little different.

Check out my Gallery (and vote, please)! I am beginning to upload new pics of my ships from BFG and FSA as I finish them.

I managed to get a second marauder painted, one of the five commandos going into my strike team. I made some progress on the pair of maw beasts (cyborg lion hounds, no joke!) as well.

I've also come up with a list for my space marines, going to throw it to the wolves, so to speak, and let the 40k army list subforum tear it apart and (hopefully!) help me recover something better from the ashes.

If I get a chance, I plan to put some more effort down on my water/fluid container/storage/tower thing as well.

Figured out an easy way to convert a wyvern into a hydra and back as well as converted my crew so they fit. Pretty happy with how I spent my time avoiding a paper......

And I am still avoiding it. Time to get to work.....ugh

Debating what project to work on next. A) Muck up my Wraithlord so he looks all S&M-y and can stand in for a Talos Pain Engine. B) Wet-sand my Wracks. C) Finish assembling my last Ravager

Went to an FLGS and picked up some reaper "Bones" minis for super cheap, as well as a couple factions of the DnD Dungeon Command "board" game.

Starting to work with, and figure out this flexible plastic that Reaper uses, and its interesting.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

That marine certainly looks weathered.

I'm continuing to muck up my wraithlord. All the decorative bits are plastic, and he's metal, so I'm pinning the ever-loving s--t out of everything. Spikes and skulls and blades and chains, all the things that good little space drow are made of.

Fun fact, the Imperial Bastion from 40k is exactly the right size for the bunker in the 'Bunker Hill' mission.

It's two orders of the 2x2 base set.

Already have the first tile washed and primed, more are soaking now.

I'm working on the first of my Warmachine army. I'm not quiting 40k, not at all, but I am expanding into Warmachine. It was this or Infinity, but this little lady stole my heart.

I still have to do the base and what not, but I'm loving Convergence so far.

And I fully approve of this. She looks amazing. (If only GW actually made a few female guard...)

I think I'm going to keep on with the Shadow Knights and just further embrace their their tendency to be technophiles by generally running them as iron hands.

I've been 'just doing whatever' for so long now that its kind of messing me up trying to choose a list that includes things I like but is also at least somewhat viable. Doesn't help that I like dreads and vehicles and those are apparently sub par lately.

Just do them anyway. You said you dont play much so better to have a list thats nice to look at all painted up than one thats really effective but never used.
