Shred City.

Holy crap just built an Ogre Kingdoms Battalion, Golgfag, and a giant for my buddy.

Took us many hours. I snipped every single thing off the sprues, cleaned everything, he assembled, and then I jumped on assembly after snipping everything free. Then once it was all built, we sorted the bits for storage. What a fun night!

edit - I gotta add, the Ogre Kingdoms stuff comes with a buttload of extras! Tons of heads, gutplates, arms, weapons, accessories, familiars - so much!

My twelve-year-old brother, who has been consistently fascinated with the 40k hobby since watching me do it through all his life, bought his first kit today; a box of Termagants. I helped him clean the moldlines and assemble a few of the models today. I figure, it's good to get them in good modelling habits early rather than having to teach noobies the proper techniques down the line.

Digging on the new Raging Heroes update. Also, adding spikes and skulls and chains to my Wraithknight-turned-Talos. (Not to mention skulls on chains, skulls on spikes, spikes on chains, and skulls on chains on spikes!)

Practicing with transparent paints to try and get a force field effect. The 2 liters I am practicing on wont work but I am getting the hang of it. Can only do 1-2 coats at a time otherwise it will start to run.

@Carlos I may have found a semi local group to play with, so I'm looking to strike a balance and get something at least usable.

That's a snazzy billboard.

Taking apart a Bolter Scout and giving it a Shotgun instead. Also repairing some Noise Marines that I had crammed inside a plastic container.

Gonna paint that Scout (Neophyte) and possibly some more Black Templars later today. But first... dump.

Love that mini, and I also love convergence. She looks well done and well painted.

Thanks - it's just a scenery piece for 40k. I'm building a maintenance walkway around it, so it can be an elevated firing position. I do have this sort of back of the mind idea to build the Hadley's Hope dock as a full 4x4 board one day.

@Jimsolo yep it's scratchbuilt, just a photoshopped picture printed and sliced. I guess it's not inconceivable that W-Y survived on far-flung worlds cut off from Terra for 38,000 years... Next maybe one for Aperture Laboratories

I had what, was to me at least, a hilarious idea for a deadzone billboard. So I may work on that. Something like a Joe Camel ad, but localized to deadzone fluff. Still have a ton of projects ongoing that I'd like to do something about but it's hotter tonight and I may just waste away into lethargy.

Have been painting up a Galactic Partridge Egomancer (Librarian). Painting white is such a pain in the rear. This guy will pop up from a John Woo Drop-pod wherever a Space Wolf gamer is playing a game, just to hog their glory.

And finished painting my Inquisitor and a servo skull

The models I can remember basing

About 10 Sohei warrior monks

2 North Star bandits
