An Infinity model, I think.

Today, I finished putting the modeling touches on my "Talos." Then I started working on finishing the last Raider and Ravager in my skimmer pool. The Ravager is taking a bit because I'm going to do a couple of head swaps and give the gunners the long ponytail head from the Scourge sprue.

Very nice, what model is that?

As Jimsolo said, an Infinity model. Specifically, a Jannisary of the Haqqislam faction. It's actually an OOP model now. I loved the pose so I bought it before it disappeared.

Old ones or new ones? The new ones aren't that bad. (And the old ones weren't that bad in comparison with, say, Space Marines, or Heaven forbid--Grey Knights.)

With our Deadzone Campaign finishing yesterday, my mate and I had time to introduce some other games to him today.

And well the obvious choice.

I assembled a new Ikea Micke drawer and cut out some custom Craftsman foam to "shadow" my hobby tools and supplies.

I got tired of the little fidgety in-drawer containers I was using to sort things. While the foam used this way isn't exactly space-efficient, does make it convenient to grab stuff out of the drawer. I also think it looks cool, despite my worried cuts.

I think I got all the parts assembled for my Raiders/Ravagers. (Going to double check in a tick.)

Got a bag of random bits I purchased today. To my disappointment, the models I first took to be scourges turned out to be Harpies for Warhammer Fantasy. On the plus side, amid the random bits in the bag I also found the leftovers from some conversion projects, including what looks like the majority of a Drazhar.

Arranged a couple of trades.

Realized last night as I wrapped up doing the sails for my DE vehicles that I didn't have blades on the bottoms of all of them. So I gotta do THAT crap tonight... sigh.

Slapped a little paint on my archer unit commander. Managed about 10 mins of painting before I had to stop but happy to get anything at all done.

Its too hot for painting here =/ I should take inspiration from you getting something done though, having more of a legitimate excuse not to. Me, I'm just lazy. And hot, in terms of temperature, and that leaves me largely uninspired to paint.

Painting with my 5 year old daughter. I'm redoing my Space Cows (the one in my Avatar has since been stripped) and she said that I needed to do some in other animal patterns like a zebra or giraffe.

I'll think about it.

No point painting if you don't want to. Your progress greatly outstrips mine.

I just did the shirt of my Archer unit leader then stopped.

I'm not as sure that it has been by much of late. I do want to paint, but its just hard to get motivated when its hot and humid.

Gotta redo the hobby room soon too bleh.

I am still agonizing over a couple of things:

1. I need to figure what model to paint for my FLGS technical paint competition this month.
2. What army I want to play in WHFB.

So I've been spending today working on that, along with just wandering around on dakka. I'm also hoping that all the stuff I ordered last friday will show up tomorrow...

At this rate I'm going to paint some nurgle model for the technical competition...it's something else for apoc at least. (of course daemons go back and forth between 40k and WHFB, but ....)

I'm jealous. I would love to get my hands on a copy of space hulk, but I'm not willing to fork out $300 for the board game...

Luigiant has clearly just consumed a magic star. Great stuff.

Working on my two squads of Blasterborn. I have four blasters, but I think I'll have to convert the other four out of Dark Lances. (By just cutting off the barrels.)

Just finished assembling/basing the first squad of Trueborn, just in time so I can take them to game night tomorrow. Think I'm going to magnetize the ones I'm gonna convert, so they can be Dark Lances OR Blasters.
