Built Epic Baldur, Woldwatcher and Woldwarden today for my new Circle army.

Have to rebuild the Woldwarden though, as it fell apart again ...

FINALLY completed my Dark Eldar Scourges using the Reaper fairy wings. They look great, but I do NOT recommend the procedure. If you have a squad of Scourges with no wings, just buy them off of ebay.

I've got a lot of deciding to do today. Some of it is hobby related, some of it not. For the hobby, I've got to sign up for Gencon and get which days I'm going to attend sorted out. And populate a wishlist so I have fair odds of getting into busy events.

I also need to figure out what to do next. I still want to get a strike team of all four original deadzone factions finished before the second shipment shows up, but I had a blast working on that last piece of terrain.

I too have a decision to make. I've got some new Cephalyx Overlords to model, but I've also got a second squad of Scourges to do. Not sure which to start first...

Well last night, technically at like 4am so it was *Today*, I put together 20 tactical marines which required digging around for a suitable Multi-Melta bit. Ended up finding a pewter one from a Land Raider Crusader.

Pictures are in my project log.

Just a few minutes ago I carved the horns off 11 Fantasy Chaos Warrior heads to use with said Tactical Marines because Sci-Fi Greeks.

Right now I'm filing and peeling the flash off some OLD pewter tactical squad shoulder pads... again for the Tactical Marines.

Ooh those batman models look sweet, they're a larger scale than 28mm aren't they?

@Jim I'd vote the overlord whatever it/they is/are, doing too many of something in a row increases the chances of burn out.

Bleeding. Cut myself pretty bad (considered stitches) trying to carve up some cork for basing material. Stabbed myself minutes later, but in order to regain some manliness points, I just superglued that one shut. Got a unit of Wracks finished, and started on my second unit of Scourges.

Suture self Jimsolo. If I can get the bleeding to stop I sterilize the wound and generally just use a bit of athletic tape to hold the wound closed.

Today? Finished up the hot glue texture on my scratchbuilt Burrower Beneath and got it onto a 120mm oval.

In an effort to get back into the swing of painting after assembling far too many enforcers.

I figured I'd try a quick 'pre-brushing' of one tonight before actually starting to paint one of them.

Holy flipping cow. I genuinely shouldn't even bother trying to paint them. The drybrush just went on instantly, going over every detail in just the right points. - Even the flat armour panels it managed it pretty much perfectly.

In all seriousness, all someone would need to do with these guys is paint one a shaded colour of your chosen scheme, then drybrush the main colour. Job done and you've got a tabletop standard army.

Of course, me being me, I'm going to spend hours messing around with the models and it'll up being half as good as a simple drybrush with extra details.

The wyrm, in all the best ways

Hobbyist surgery doesn't phase me. Knew someone once who used model ship rigging line to stitch up a gash in his leg...

I'm sure that superglue is better than just bleeding out, but I always worry about what that 'cyan' in cyanoacrylate is for.

Finally got to play a game with my converted Dark Eldar. Here's that 'evil Wraithlord' I've been promising to post.

So today I was going to prime most of my imperial knight, my flyrant, zooanthrope and finish deathleaper.

Did some more cleaning up of the models. Once again, looked at the models I need to finish up with magnets and said "screw, it I don't want to deal with magnets and green stuff today".

I hate Finecast. *Hates it.* I stopped trying to glue deathleaper before I threw the ing model. It's been one of those days.

Restarted the game (with the lists anyway) that we stopped on sunday due to tornado sirens.

He won, 5 or 6? points to 3 secondary.

I... Uh... What?

Finecast may be terrible, but if it does one thing well, it's glue together. The slightly rough texture makes it hold well, and the light weight means theres no weight stress. Shouldn't take any longer than a metal model for the super glue to set. The super glue join should even be stronger than the resin itself.

Just to follow up what I said last night.

The left image is the enforcer that I spent an inordinately long time going round and edging. The right enforcer, is a few minutes spent drybrushing Eshin Grey over the model.

What I'm trying tonight, if I ever just stop messing around, is doing the drybrushing, then painting in the black and charcoal on the flat panels. - Hopefully that'll have the same effect, with half the work! Then all I need to do is edge a lighter grey on a couple of panels and hopefully it's all good.

I've determined a similar thing about dipping. I can try hard, or I can do it the easy way with very similar results. I might have to assemble a couple of enforcers and try to match/update my corporation marine scheme.

That wraithlord looks to be a serviceable Talos. Rather spikey.

I'm locking myself in this weekend, and finally getting a start on a Roman army. My plan is to put together a 100 man century authentic to the best misinformation that Wikipedia and Hollywood have to offer, with some Cavalry, Archer auxiliaries, and Ballista, and dividable into reasonable units for gaming, all with adjustable basing for different unit formations.

Then I'm gonna build em a fort out of toothpicks.
