Building and painting immortals

After a month of getting very little done on account of work and kick-starters and the like, today I got the nomads from my copy of Ice storm built and primed. Tomorrow I have a 300 point game of X-wing scheduled. Happy days.

Finished painting and dipped my Gwailos. Gonna wait till tomorrow to cut off his slot-tab and glue him to his shiny new clear acrylic. Hoping to put some distance on a couple more Shasvastii today.

Malifaux plastics are 32mm mostly because their shins are roughly twice normal human proportions.

Ahh, I've only ever worked with the Malifaux metals... but things like the mannequins and Coryphees are so ridiculously spindly.

Last night I finally did some more work on my Infinity stuff. Got my last Muyib about halfway done. Hopefully I can finish it tonight.

I found an old, old house model kit (model train style, yes) at a consignment shop. Very neat, but a bit of a pain to put together. Also, I keep stabbing myself with my little scissors.

That is also a bit of a pain.

Last night I undercoated my Bastilodon, Ancient Steg, OOP Old Blood on Carnosaur and 8 Cold Ones.

Now I just need to paint them, finish the details on the rest of the army and base them.

Should only take about 15 years

Just tried painting tiger stripes on some Oni.

I'm going to get a quick 500 point game of 40k in with a buddy in a few hours. He has been away for two weeks so we are both looking forward to throwing some dice around.
I'm going to be putting my eldar up against his Chaos. I have some nice new Striking Scorpions to try out on his Chosen.

Just finished a commission job. Ahriman, generic Night Lords lord and five assault Death Company dudes.

Will probably use the money to get a "corollary" for my Convergence force.

Putting together a bunch of paper terrain for Infinity... Which I won't get to use for another two weeks due to shipping/production delays!

Waiting until I get the time I can pick up Super Glue for my Iron Warrior Breacher Squad...

In the meantime, I'm going through my bits boxes for components to use with them!

Just finished magnetizing my army. Probably gonna prime all the arms and start painting them since I can do that while waiting to green stuff everything else.

Stumped on magnetizing my Forge World Dreadnaught Drop Pod doors... Gathering up all my unfinished models, repairing them from a couple of years of storage, ordering missing bits and establishing a man room, trying to figure out the layout.

Bummed that I've not been able to paint.

Today I've been trying to make an ork war buggy for 40k. Makin' it from scratch. It's a mess. But it's still a fun thing to try.

But oh boy is it a mess.

Yeah, there's been a 2 week delay in getting it to retailers as apparently there were about twice as many orders as CB expected. It's a good problem for the game to have, but it means no new shinies for a few weeks...

I'm thinking I might have a revival of one of my 40k armies in the meantime, either my Deathwing or Blood Angels.

I'll be crying because of the O:I delays.
