Played a couple of games for our local escalation league.

Won one, lost one.

Apparently my gorkanaut has TNT strapped to the outer hull though...

I just finished my Wild Riders and painted one in their wintery-forest scheme as a test run. I think I like where the colors are but am being indecisive if I want all the stags the same color or not.

Since I've stalled doing that, I'm moving on to fixing a bunch of broken elves I got filthy dirt cheap off of ebay. Unsure if priming will happen tonight, but definitely enjoying my single day off.

I also won my campaign game against Ogres. Me: 2000pts, Him: 2100.

Poisoned arrows, an irresistible force Mind Razor from my Shadowdancer, and a full-strength, throne buffed Regrowth on Wild Riders saved the game for me.

Lord am I tired.

played a game that was bring all painted minis for fantasy, i brought 2000 points of ogres and my friend brought 3200 points of beastmen , and I won though it was a tough battle near the end!

With Icestorm on it's way (at last), I am trying to get back into the swing of things after a short holiday, both literal and metaphorical, from my painting desk. Got a BA Assault Marine done yesterday and will try and knock out a couple more and some Raven Guard before the day is done, unless a big box of Infinity arrives for me to obsess over instead!

Hopefully going to order the basis of a Chaos Dwarf army from Mantic within the next 24 hours or so. Forgeworld? Doubtful, but as I play 4th ed WHFB I don't really need that many minis...

Finished my second Terminator, it happens to be the Sergeant of the 10 Marine squad.

Looks good, I like the depth to the red and the shiny effect on the sword. I'd add some freehand squiggles to break up the flat areas, but that's preference. It'ls great as-is.

Also good to see others using 10-man Termie squads, I'm not as mad as I thought I was. 10 Termies, HF, AC, attached TDA Librarian or TH/SS Captain? 'Point sink?' says you? 'Who cares?' says I.

I'm not doing anything today. But yesterday I was working on my CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT.

I have no photos of it yet, but you of all people should know what it looks like.

How did the CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT become a meme anyway? I mean, it's a cool, semi-practical model, that's why I purchased it. I only learnt about the meme afterwards.

I think it was a thread years back where someone copy-and-pasted the name from Forge World, hence in all capitals, and it just sort of exploded from there, like a wave of Guardsmen from a CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT! (Sorry, had to be done )

You're right, though, it is a very cool model. Post pics when you're done!

Have to say, I'm very impressed with it. Not only the minis that I knew would be great, but also the genius flat-pack buildings, and the excellent rulebook layout as well.

Finished the Nisse from Icestorm. Now working on an Aguacile and the CSU with varying degrees of success.

I've been working away on another Dropzone Commander UCM dropship. I'm always amazed how much work is in them.

I still have another dropship to start on. Then I've got 3 Rapier AA tanks to continue working on as well.

Now though, I'm off shopping to buy myself the Enterprise NX-01, this might be one of the last handful of Attack Wing purchases I make.

Got these guys assembled this morning. Great kits I have to say, the individual and customisation options are top notch. Kudos to GW on that one.

It was closed. So now I'm ordering it

Or you could have gone to a hardware store and gotten it for about a third of the price GW is asking

Went to the closest store that might be selling it. Asked them about a bottle of glue that I thought was super glue.

They didn't know if it'd work with resin. I recalled why I never went to this "hobby" store, and left

My buddy bought me two Beastmen Battalions a few days ago, grabbed some new paint, and bought a Ghorgon kit as well.

Close to finishing my Be'lakor - he came out as good as I'd hoped.

This fella should be finished soon if I feel up to it.

Priming a knight, some GKs, some orks, and a warjack for a coworker who has no airbrush. Threw me money for primer cause he is cool like that.

working on the first of five cataphractii terminators. trying a new way of painting the same scheme, should look a lot better.

Went to the "Friendly" Local Game Store. Never going there again.

I bought some paint, CSM, and Super Glue - the glue was solid. FFS.
