^Hah! Sounds like good times were had (by at least one side ).

I'm still working on talling up my space marines, but I took a 4-5 hour break from that today to participate in the monthly library game day. I got in two games of X-Wing and I'm dangerously close to wanting to spend money on it now... and I hosted 3 games of Mars Attacks which were filled with zany antics and lots of casualties

Indeed, I made the same experience three weeks ago.

Today I spent the day painting Grey Knigth Paladins, getting a bit tired of that silver now, but I think it looks good and and the unit looks good togetter. So all in all I am pleased, outside of that I am considering ordering myself some additionale Panzer 4s to complement my Grenadier division

Bit more work on my High Elves, also painting up a flight of Do-17Z light bombers and finishing off some Spitfires and Hurricanes to stop them getting anywhere.

Entered both Rollcall and the BHGS event in Oxford for FoW so will have to get my early war stuff sorted eventually as well

Today I will try to resist burning up my amazon credit to order X-Wing as I know I won't be able to stop with just a couple of little ships and I'll want all everything before it's over =/ Try being the operative word...

While I"m not actively doing that... I'll be looking into finalizing the first few terminator-legs-for-height-and-fear-factor converted marines, I think I'm going to be sticking with honor guard so once the builds are all sorted I'll set upon them with as many gubbins as will fit, with the aim of emptying my bits box

Spoiler:

Those are pretty damn beautiful. Well done

Not sure if it qualifies, but I played a game of Ticket to Ride with a kid at work today. No assembling or painting done, as usual

I keep swapping projects. I am adding more foam to the LoER terrain piece, and working on a mostly scratchbuild for a larger Stormraven.

Do show it off if you manage to focus and finish the storm raven

I'm switching it up too, got some skaven going down onto multibases for eventual use in Kings of War, or at least for better shelf display action.

Well I am stealing silveroxides dropship front and building a large SR. I can never focus, the only reason I finish projects is due to the way things ship. When I am waiting on parts from project A, and parts come for B, I work on B. :/

Anyways, only news was I got a ton of plasticard for the first time ever. It is a wonderful material. Also, I found some cool replacement engines since after shipping the cheapest bit retailer costs me 10-15$ for some engines. Found some night fishing bobbers that look like engines and light up for like... 7$. A small victory so far. I hope to start on the hull tonight.

There's some progress for you. I almost feel bad only having 13 models on a base sized for 20, but that's just one of the benefits of KoW's treating units as a single entity... Plus if you're a Skaven that's a holy number

Firefly was ok here, the normal M4 though.. its not bad if you remove the alignment ledge from the inside of one of the sides to get it to line up, then jam the thing in a vice while the glue sets. little bit of plastic putty filler after and it works for me.

How that got out of quality control is beyond me though.

PSC models are a lot nicer

Nice work Loki, and great basing too!

Today, I shall be pressing on with my LotR binge. Just 6 models left in the Gondor force now, all cavalry, and I've started on their Mordor opponents, getting a warband of Orcs painted yesterday. Today's task will be a) finalising the Mordor army list and making sure I have all the minis I need, and then converting some Corsairs (pirates with bows) to Arbalests (pirates with crossbows)...

Today applied my second layer of texture paint to my Plague Drones' flying bases. Hopefully I won't need to apply any more after this and can move on to applying a wash. I also applied a wash to the Plague Drone rider. Yesterday I applied Typhus Corrosion and Ryza Rust to his sword and then re-basecoated the parts of the miniature that I slopped on. I also bought the Forgeworld Great Unclean One on ebay at half its retail value.
