Got 3 Red Squadron X-wings and the Millennium Falcon painted up (not FFG ones, they're slightly larger toy repaints). Next will be a TIE Advanced and another TIE Fighter, then onto the characters, Boba Fett and Vader up first.

No, they're repaints from the Star Wars Command toys. Got a whole load of sets for about half retail, and they paint up nicely enough. Here's a couple, and a scale shot with 40k:

Yeah those are pretty fancy

I also really like your black Nomad scheme, gives the models a totally different feel.

Personally, trying to get myself to stop zooming my little x-wing ships around until I can get in an actual game with another person Need to finish some walls for the LoER comp too, and I may look at some card organizer sheet things to keep my x-wing cards safe/organized.

There is not this idea.

I had surgery a few days ago, and while slightly hopped up on painkillers, I thought it would be fun and distracting to make a small building out of cardboard! And I did.

It exists, and I am not ashamed to admit that. It may... it may not be my best work, though.

Lol Haight, I'm guilty of that as well and I still haven't gotten to 'officially' use my fleets yet. It's really hard to not just blindly Pokemon the entire range (well to not want to, finances make it easier to not do realistically speaking ). It's gonna be hard to resist picking up most if not all of the scum stuff too =/

Currently building up a sheet of wanted posters and signs for use on my 28mm scifi terrain, doing so now so I can print them out and put a few on my barricades for the LoER comp.

I'm flabbergasted at how fun, how fast it is to pick up, and how well it plays. I used to do some professional game design, and i'm not easily impressed with mini games rules (most fall into "exception based design" which i hate because of its overuse, or convolution for its own sake, which is just flat out bad).

I'm stunned at how good this game is.

I watched a few videos and read some discussions, seems like it's a lot deeper than I was expecting. And I'm sure you can throw out all of the brainy stuff, take a couple hundred points of ships on a bigger table and just have fun making woosh and pew pew lazor sounds too

Honestly anymore the later almost sounds more fun to me.

For game two we put on a couple of tracks of the dogfight music from star wars, and made tie fighter and pew pew noises.

I'm a 35 year old man. I probably haven't had this much fun since i was ten.

Assembling ten Bile Thralls. They are only one piece models.
The price policy of PP is okay, one piece models are about 10€ cheaper than multi piece models.

Heh, I may have to invest in the music, you aren't the first person I've heard likes to play it during dogfights

Gotta finish my LoER walls and get them submitted on the quick! Just blood and any other weathering effects.

Then it's time to start working on a gift shirt.

Looking at how the paints, modeling gear that has come through the post looks so cool and pretty.... without any actual models to actually get stuck into :(

Bah.. bloody postal service and all that crap...waiting for that first box of troops to come through is agony :(

I even went to my local GW asking of they got any broken crap I could take to practice. Of course they said no...Free stuff from GW you say !? ha good one mate... ;(

Putting a Corpsethief claw together now. I'm using old metal Wraithlords, and I'm going to convert them to look all Dark Eldar-y. I'm going to base their looks on Cenobites Pinhead, Fan Dancer, Little Sister, and Halo, from the Hellraiser comics.

Welcome to the Freakshow!
