A friend got me a VT-49 Decimator for my fledgling X-wing fleet, so may have to get a game in to try that out.

As a change of pace from the Baddies of Middle Earth, I've switched over to a High Elf warband that should be able to plug into my other armies easily enough thanks to LotR's rather loose Allies rules. Next will be some Dwarves, or maybe more Gondor.

Trying to paint on a color scheme for my Dark elder Pirates

There's a thought... Paint up dark eldar to look like your stereotypical pirates. Maybe even to the point of getting to Tricorn hats right? Filing that one away for later!
I just sealed my first 9 models of the year. I'm staying ahead of my plans to do 1/day on average but I really need to be getting ahead of the goal during this time of year.

Wales: Where the Men are Men and the sheep are Scared.
I had my first try of the x wing rules. I really enjoyed it. I was the rebels and managed to kill the first tie fighter really quickly. The second I got into a dog fight with and got his health down to 1 over the course of the game while my health was barley dented. Then I missed about four shots in a row and he ended up taking me out.

DEMON! WITCHCRAFT1 BURN HIM AT THE STAKE!
I've been up all night because I couldn't sleep so I have like two new drawings good enough to put in my port-folio and my paper waste bin is overflowing.

Holy gak mate. Are you just fast as hell or do you have loads of time?
Probably the latter. I'm off to uni in September, though, so I'm trying to get as much as I can done before then as I imagine it will put a fairly titanic dent in my hobby time.
That, and washes are a speed-painter's best friend. Why highlight when you can Agrax?
Today, I plan to finish off the Elves, then it will another Gondorian or Dwarf warband.

Doing research on a 1000 point 40k campaign that's being started up next month at my FLGS. Trying to figure out what I'm going to play. It's really geared at starting a new army. I don't know if I want to work on one of my main armies, or what. My space wolves at the moment consist of the stormclaw boxes still on the sprues.
I have no idea where End Times is going long term, so it's totally not helping me with my army choices over there, if I wanna roll glottkin or hold out and see what happens to OK and O&G.

Just picked up the starter box for X-wing, probably gonna order the Slave I just because, and read through the rules.
I know, I shouldn't buy additional ships until I know we like the game.... but even if I end up not really picking up the game in any meaningful way, the Slave I ship itself is fething cool.

Where are you planning to order the Slave1? Have they started to come back into stock? (been OOS most everywhere for awhile, OOS or with a jacked up price).

Yeah... been seeing some major price gouging, so put my email on the "list" at a couple places for when it comes back in stock
Also, just saw the IG-2000 is set to come out sometime this month (yeah, I may have a strong like for SW bounty hunters)

I'm much less of a SW buff than some people, but I still can't help but get excited about new X-Wing releases. The damn ships are like Pokemon, I want at least one of all of them, at least =/
Nothing particularly ties me to the IG-2000, probably my least favorite of the big ships so far (especially since the special rules of the pilots seem to encourage you to acquire multiple copies of the ship =/), but I still kind of want one. I definitely want the set with two Z-95's and a y-wing with extra cards for HWKs and Firesrpays, and the Star Viper, and the little Scyk sounds cool too lol.
@Compel, the Decimator is awesome, he dwarfs the fighters and makes my YT2400 look like it should be on a smaller base I'm sure the Epic ships are still bigger than him, but it's by a much slighter margin than with the other x-wing ships so far.
So I'm getting a little painting done... I'm also lining up some more models so my paint queue doesn't hit a supply chain error and stall... Adding 3 wizards, some zombies, and one or two other things to the queue once I prime them today, and the Big Stompy Robot is back on the list as well
Also.. Just sayin...
Spoiler:
The saucer just about works as a freighter sized X-Wing ship if you were to make it a properly scaled bridge section instead of the default dome Cannons are a little large but not crazily so.
