Finishing basing for WW1 German Infanterie platoon for FoW.
I stalled out on painting Germans in November/December and just now started again.

Next up I have a built but unprimed MG platoon for the same army. Behind that are the two A7Vs still to be built and a Krupp platoon of only two guns to work up.

A couple days work if I stay motivated and then both my WW1 FoW forces'll be completed.

writing army lists.

EDIT: Scratch that. Looking at GW's webstore and creating a shopping list.

Oh, wait. I already finished the shopping list.

So now it's just looking at GW's webstore.

I got two Myth Ork minis from Adepticon this past weekend, and I finished painting them last night. They were free-bees at their booth. Cool stuff. Fantasy style that I'll use with my D&D minis. I took them off their bases and used my own, though.

Finished painting one plt of Maxim MGs and one Krupp gun plt. All they need are the bases done and dull coat and they're finished.

Jealous. Pics?

Gonna head to the local GW in a bit...and do my absolute best not to buy anything but food today...

"Must wait to see if there is a box set...must wait to see if there is a box set, must save money for codex" repeat mantra

I really need to get cracking on painting my dead space marines, might also throw down a game for the last bit of the escalation campaign...not that it seems to matter much anymore, since my score sheet is missing...

And I might work on a list for the defensive part of the campaign next, but I need to buy some more expensive models for that (for what I really want to run) so I probably won't even participate in that.

Taking photos of the miniatures for my Mid-Third Age (Middle-earth) Northern Hithaeglir Goblin Army.

I finally have all of the figures I need, and have organized them into units, and have even nearly finished painting the Greater-Goblins (which amount to about 3/8 of the army - The Greater-Goblins are 6 Units out of 16)

I have also organized and assembled almost all of the figures for a Rohirrim Army (to be used as a Mid-Third Age Éotheod Army from the upper vales of the Anduin), and have one unit nearly completed (out of a total of six or seven).

In the process, I discovered two packages of Epic Tau, which means that I now have enough 6mm Tau to complete a Battalion (well... I still don't have enough Devilfish for all of the infantry. I think I need about 8 more of them - or roughly â…“ of my left arm, and about 2/5 of my right leg worth).

I actually did some hobby work and put together a pair of PaK40s. I didn't have the crews, so that required a bit of extra work to modify and "make" crews. Thankfully between leftovers from the panzergrenadiers I set up way back, and other bits and bobs that was easily rectified.

My 4th mission of my Imperial Assault campaign was last night. - Dark Obsession.

It was a close run thing, with Darth Vader only having 2 Actions left but....

It was an Imperial victory, with Lord Vader successfully managing to locate Luke Skywalker.

Who then, naturally, jumped out the window to safety. - But still, Imperial Victory!

Also, the Rebel Scum demonstrated how cowardly they actually are. Terrified of Imperial reinforcements, the dastardly Rebels locked the door, leaving Fenn on the other side.... To die, being blown apart by many shotgun rounds.

Frustratedly refreshing a tracking code on a courier website, shaking my fist at the sigh and cursing.

Going to try and finish 2 sets of Gondor War Machine crew and 3 Moria Goblin Captains.

Hopefully take some photos of some Greek-themed Undead.

Then onto the next thing.

And probably waste too much time on PS4 games.

But first... sleep! Since I'm up at 4:30am with a swollen painful gum that's started to calm down. I think I got whatever was in there out of there.

Planning.

Our dog just had to undergo emergency surgery (his small intestine is now a few inches shorter, but he's alive), meaning that time has been short and we're a few grand (well, a few more - student loans, credit cards, and all that) in the hole. I don't generally spend much on hobby things, but I'll be working with a mere thread of what was already a shoestring budget, for a while. Have to see what I can do with what I already have.

Not an insurmountable issue, as I've got a model backlog that could last me for years (with only the occasional paint restock), but I like to bounce around between projects in the broader sense than merely "which army." Wood, leather, metal, and terrain projects will all have to be done with existing scraps and I won't be starting work on any of the armies for which I have models, but still need additional paints and supplies.

Hopefully, I can spin this into a big push towards actual model work - I've been skirting the peripheries for a while, now, and don't want to get too rusty with my figure painting skills, meager as they are.

Had a game with my Necrons against Aaron's Eldar.
It was a draw at the end.
Decursion and two Canoptek formation is very durable even against a skimmer heavy Eldar army.
