Bwahaha. Yeah, I switched to clear acrylics maybe a year ago. Haven't rebased any 40k stuff onto them yet as they all got painted scratchbuilt scenic bases and I hate to kill those. Especially if they're just on the shelf. But I probably have a hundred models on them already and I just got an order for 375 more bases recently. 300 25mms, 50 40mms, and 25 55mms (not insignificantly cheaper than 60mms, the proper size for infinity, and I like the smaller size for generic stuff too). I figure if I ever *do* play 40k again, I can slap some spare dreadnought bases under the 55s if anyone gives me guff lol.
I love the whole 'Where ever you go, there you are' aspect of clear acrylics. It's also nice that you don't have to paint them

I think this LOTR Galadriel model would make a nice Warlock for D&D. I'm painting mine to match this colour scheme.

I got a fairly limited order of bases (50-25mm, 10-30mm, 25-55mm, 5-120mm oval), to base this army. My main reason were "It fits everywhere I put them", I'm not that good at basing, so I'll have to practise on some gue'vesa before I base some serious stuff and I'm working on a remote location (cruise ship), with limited budget.

Put a little graffiti on my building, some scrub tagger who's not very good:
But I think it's funny. Gonna dip the building down and get some flyers/ads/posters printed out.

Made some progress on my DIY Zone Mortalis project.
I have enough to play some playtest games at this point.
Waiting on some bits for detailing and then to paint up some test pieces.

Just finished gluing sand to my USMC reinforcments. Tomorrow I'm going to paint another squad of GIs for my US army and a Sherman if I have enough time. I can't wait to finally have a fully painted army. It'll be my first since I got into miniature wargaming.

And then not show us the skaven!
For shame.

Fair enough, lol. I can see where you'd get to that.
Due to the presence of Toddler McGrabbyHands, the bookcase is the staging area for models in my home. (At least this one is. Bookcases outnumber all other furniture combined in this house.)

Muahaha skaven, woot. I would have gotten some isle of blood skaven back when they were super cheap but they would have made the rest of my skaven look even more like chubby chimps. Speaking of those guys, been bumping into them a bit as I try to simultaneously sort my hobby room and game room. Maybe it'll happen...

Tidying up a set of Middle Eastern buildings which I've been working for a friend. I've made more than a few with this batch with the hope that they'll tide him over for a while and let up some time for me to work on other stuff. On the side of putting those together I managed to paint up another ruin for my Morrowind stuff and have some more mercenaries in various states of painting. ...Hopefully then I can post something of substance in my Elder Scrolls thread then at some point tomorrow (...eleven at night is "some point tomorrow FYI).

Certainly looks helpful to folks who haven't used them before. I think we may use slightly different methods but both work fine
Glad to see I'm not the only guy to ever give a model the mega-stretch attachment

Gonna prime my USMC reinforcements now that they are filed/cleaned and based. My US army is really coming along at 7 units fully painted/based.

I am currently rebasing my Dark Angels marines on 32mm bases. Hasn't been as difficult as I feared, although I did have to mutilate one 25mm base to get the stubborn muhreen off of it. I wasn't even going to do this at first; but I noticed that my Devastators (from the new kit) looked odd next to all my Tacticals and Assault marines (with their 25mm bases). Now everybody's base will match, other than the characters (and I will eventually catch up on those!).

Sorry for being overly pedantic, but unless things have changed since I finished my service 15 years ago, marines don't have medics. Instead Navy corpsmen are attached to marine units to give medic support.
