Cozy cockpit of an Imperial Knight

To celebrate winning a fun one-off scenario yesterday I decided to do some touching up on the Sentinel I brought along, giving it a magnetized multi-melta, the pilot a new head and added some grass to the base.

@para, depending on how much space is in demand... That's how I'd pick whether or not to bring a big table army.

I'm not really tweaking the rules so much as just picking out abilities and league perks to represent the various factions I have. But sure, I'll put the rosters and thought process up on my blog at some point.

I've been running a me vs myself game to test things out, reinforce my rules knowledge, and make a fun battle report using my minis and scenery as that's always fun (and I won't annoy another player by taking so many photos and notes).

Vader and his minions are really taking a beating from my space marines, but there's a couple of turns left.

I decided to finally finish the digital sculpt of my old Dwarf Heavy Warrior concept (here).

Still looking for a good way to produce these guys atm :(

I should also find the time to clean the first 3d print prototype of my digital sculpted Wood Troll (I love this model, to be honest)

If anyone is interested in giving me advices or critiques (or anything else), this is my DakkaDakka discussion, here.
I have a lot of models there, still I have no way to produce them.

We are currently in the sculpting phase, resin-metal production will follow.

Any game to which you can apply that sentence has to be a good one!

The humidity has been very low the last few days, so I scrambled to get stuff ready for priming. That way I'll have a lot of stuff to hobby with when the cold hits Northern IL.

Finally have a decent - sized gaming table! Now I don't have to keep half my army in reserve just so my units can fit on the table space.

Also working on a TF2 variant of the Necromunda rules. I'm going to finish the current campaign I'm on to get a better idea of weapon stats and gameplay, but I hope to get started soon.

Will there be hat mechanics?

Assembling some Guardsmen. It's time to refurbish the Guard army I haven't played in over a year.

That winter quote amuses me. Just about airbrush/gesso priming season..

Vader got shoved by a combat scout and the royal guard had to haul him off the board. Whole team needs reevaluated.

Got a pair pair of test Marines done, Ultramarines and Iron Hands. Also 'accidentally' bought a Hail Ceased Mounted Roman General (and dog) in a local store.. I have no need of it beyond display, but it's an awesome mini!

I'm going to see how many Lord of The Rings models I can scrounge up tonight for my Kings of War armies.

I have a feeling I might come a cropper though, the Kingdoms of Men armies are *really* cheap in points...

On the other hand, I do have a fair amount of LOTR models...

Do 10-12 for a regiment, they go a lot further like that. Personally I think it looks better too.

I'll probably be using my old 'War of the Ring' bases for most of it. - Hopefully they're the right sizes.

I think they're roughly the right size, certainly for friendlies, and you can always shove a bit of card underneath to get them big enough if anyone has a problem. There's also a fan-made mod for KoW-LotR that simply has 8/16/32 as the unit sizes to make the trays easier, a google should turn it up.

Got the paintwork on my Roman general done, just need to wait for the milliput on his base to dry and he'll be done... just in time for me to hopefully be distracted by more Batman goodies tomorrow!

Finishing up trimming the last 50 dice bags for a certain Kickstarter. Thankfully it was a kickstarter exclusive design and I never have to look at it again.

I've loved it, but trimming is like trimming flash off a model, nobody likes this part.

But I think they turned out alright. (by my standards at least.)

Stripping paint of a metal hive tyrant from ebay, that appeared to have had a catapult used in the paint process but he (provisionally called Brian) is coming out ok. Also managed the jungle basing on 25 old genestealers ready for priming next week plus a rescued Mawloc and some rippers.

Then finished and gloss varnished some Relics models for an event tomorrow (matt varnish will come after the bases are done).

To cap it all got some lego to make barriers for making some custom moulds, which forgetting to get something to release the RTV silicone with.. so project delayed (again)
