Digging through dungeon saga.. there's a lot. Got some organizers for the models and maybe tokens. Got some budget brushes to use once or twice for dipping, yay.

At a Place, Making Dolls Great Again

Finally finishing my Dreadfleet stuff, I felt some of the paintjobs were a tad rushed so am redoing 2 of the ships and some of the tokens.
Gonna play it with some friends when I visit them for New Years (they're not miniature gamers so it's easier to convince them to play it lol).
Someone at a KoW tournament awhile back said I finally found a good use for Dreadfleet when I used its massive box to carry my Snotling/Goblin army.

Painting up T-72, and remembering to take the two hulls out of the freezer before Mrs. L. finds them. Think I did well actually, assembled ten and only had a magnetisation polarity reversal issue on two...

Five of my ten tanks now largely done in base colours, once the rest are done will varnish and black line..

Bit more progress for team yankee.

Just nine more T-72 to go, they are in green and black lined but no further, just did one to see what the green comes out like when highlighted.

Hind is ok, rotors have magnets so hope to get plastic discs sorted for them soon.

Wondering on exhaust weathering from the helicopter exhausts?

Hind looks nice. What system is this for? Sorry if you already said, but I didn't feel like reading 253 pages. lol

Team Yankee, basically Flames of War in 1985 in a hypothetical 'oh poo its all kicked off' based on the book Team Yankee.

Only had a quick taster game of it but feels to the WW2 game like 40k did to warhammer back when 1st edition came out, this could potentially be huge.

Consider just how many little wards there have been from the early 80's onwards a nice gradual release programme and you have everything up to modern day, in 15mm

Hind is ok, the model is not amazing as a gaming model though, rotors are stupidly fragile, you get a magnet for the main ones but not the tail (I've added small magnets anyway there) and the landing gear if you model it down won't last long either.

However it is huge for a 1:100 scale model

Got lucky and found some old army books that were 75% off at an FLGS. Currently trying to work on a 3E CSM codex to convert it to 6E.

EDIT: Holy feth, I didn't know Vampire Counts could be so powerful. Banshees are ethereal, making them impossible to harm with non-magical attacks, lore of Necromancy has spells that can resurrect troops and empower the wizard to use a single attack that's an automatic wound on hit, and the Vampire Lord statline is insane. Maybe it's because I'm using an outdated army book, but dear lord, these are pretty darn strong. Can't wait to perform the unit field tests.

Uh, painting little green men.

Which is to say I've actually bothered painting something instead of just sculpting. So yup, that's a thing.

Played my first game of X-wing today, jolly fun stuff! In starting, I just flew one X-wing against a pair of TIEs, tomorrow (after a 6-film Star Wars marathon in preparation for EpVII on Monday) I'll be adding in more ships.

Nice models as well, looking forward to painting them up.

I'm gonna need pics.

I've been working on some Khador stuff. They were my first foray into the game and I figured it's time to get back into them. (after collecting Convergence and Mercs)

Crappy WIP shot of my zombie-hunting ganger:

I decided to replace the sawn-off with a spare laspistol I had left over from a FW upgrade pack or something. It'll receive a black wash for sure, it's a bit too bright green for my tastes, but other than that, I am liking where this is going. Now if I'm brave enough I'll also add something to the torn top and take a stab at something akin to a tribal tat on her left arm.

She's also gotten a name, courtesy of the Dark Heresy name charts, two D100 throws later we've got.. Fatal Jaine.
