At a Place, Making Dolls Great Again

Trying to get down ideas for a solo game I thought up, after seeing Chainsaw Warrior in action I wanted something similar.
Will need some hex boards I think. Already got some wargear card ideas and was pondering the "fate" card system Dreadfleet had going, trigger enemies and stuff.
I guess different coloured hexes would do that too (or let you draw weapon cards, enemy cads, fate cards, I donno).

Finished some Blood Bowl Orc star player conversions and Chisel, the first Season Two model for the Masons in Guild Ball, and continued to work on my Halde Free Company (Kingdoms of Men in KoW) - 1/2 of a Shield Wall Horde finished, and two regiments of Pole Arms stuck to their bases with sticky tack for tomorrow's game.

Probably just a warbiker or two. It would be great to knock out the pack before the week starts. My two cases are also getting close to capacity, so I might have to make a new one.

Today, I woke up, painted my Assault Marines, and then proceeded to basecoat some tactical marines. I'm probably gonna do some late night painting again. I'm putting the hours!

Thinking about getting Goreshade 3, Lord of Ruin, going in tourneys. He's one of the best casters in the game. Cavalry and ghostly will be fun to play.

Quick-fingered Warlord Moderatus

Over the holidays I painted 24 Tau Fire Warriors, 30 Kroot and a Krootox, 3 Crisis suits, a Devilfish, the drones for said Devilfish, and assembled a Ghost Keel.
To go along with all that, I've had 6 of the original 40k (metal) Tau Stealth suits assembled and primered since ... like the day they came out. I've also had 3 of the "new" (and considerably less cool looking imo) plastic ones assembled and primered for a while as well. So my plan for today is to covert the three plastic suits to all have Fusion blasters and then paint up all 9 suits. Since my metal suits all have the base load out (pulse canons), I'll split the squads up so that I still have three units of three, but now the new plastic suits will be the squad leaders and provide the Fusion guns.
Hopefully, mixing them in like this will lessen the look of three large, oddly shaped suits bouncing around amongst the much cooler, sleaker, and stealthier looking suits of yesteryear. Fingers crossed ....

A combination of tidying up and making a Battle Wagon - I have three made and need 2 more for my Blitz Brigade.
Tidying up in involved:
- fixing various small breaks on my Kanz
- fixing more magnets on Kanz and a few other models, and putting some green stuff on the bases to help secure the magnets
- Cleaning the last scraps of paint off some recycled (Ebay) MANZ
- Re gluing said MANZ
- Dropping battlewagon box on Kanz
- Fixing Kanz again and putting away in new biscuit tin home
- Completing first few stages of sprue Battlewagon #1

I just played a game at my FLGS 40k open play night. My Khorne Daemonkin vs. my opponent's Farsight Enclaves Tau. He had a Stormsurge and a Riptide with an ECPA. I had a CAD with Cypher's Fallen Champions as allies. We played Maelstrom Mission 2. I did end up losing (I think the score was like 8-5 against me), but my D-thirster managed to survive four D-missiles (only 2 of them were actually str. D) and a bunch of other stuff and kill the Stormsurge (but he ended up splatted by the Stomps. I was glad to get the game in today since there's a tournament on this coming Saturday. I think I'd be better off taking my Dark Angels instead of my KhorneKin, though.

Been working with the old white dwarf templates for scratch building the epic ork battlewagons/battlefortresses in 40k scale.
One idea is a gobsmasha with an open top troop transport bay.
Also been thinking about what to do themewise with my unassembled IG army.
