Ran some Imperial Assault skirmish demos at the Milton Keynes Sci-Fi con. Many stormtroopers were defeated.

Rogue's ankle broke just as I was basing her. I've tried to salvage here as best I could buy it turns out even a 1mm drill bit was too big...

So I've done a shoddy greenstuff job... Anyone asks she's tripped and her ankle's swollen... Really rubbish though. All that time painting and she breaks at the last hurdle.

Aside from that my Xmen Starter just needs a few rocks painted and I'm done.

I don't think I have posted on this thread yet but I'm rather excited with my current Deffwotch project. I actually made the last 2 Frag Kannon boyz since this picture and I'm in the process of brainstorming how to make an Orky Drop Pod (probably scratch built to have a real Orky Ramshackle feel to it). After they are all painted up ill make some crude looking face masks for them (think of the masks the Spy uses in Team Fortress 2) to complete the disguise.

I'm struggling to make headway on these blasted Guardians. I just can't seem to find a way to make highlighting yellow interesting.

Bought the Cryx box yesterday. Gives me some work nexttime.

I've been doing a lot of yellow recently for my X-Men. It was weird basically all my attempts at highlighting the yellow somehow merged into a single colour so you can't tell they're highlighted all.

Building Heresy Word Bearers and getting the first paint onto 30ish Plaguebearers and Heralds.

Assembling third skitarii sydonian dragoon, more Fyreslayer touvh-ups, reading AoS Godbeasts for podcast recordings

Finally got round to finishing Oily Jim. I've been doing far too little painting, and far too much shooting super mutants in the face.

Updated my Army of the Imperium plog with my Sisters of Battle!

Finished painting a Boromite Heavy Frag Borer weapons team for Gates of Antares.

Finished up the bikes for my Coherian Host.

Once the two troupes are finished, my Harlequins will be done for good!

Some more casting of tank parts.

Edited the entry of Satyxis Raiders at battlecollege.org. Not yet ready.

Built the contents of the Kill Team boxed set, the free White Dwarf mini (big bastard he is!) and dug out my spare Tau bits so I could build some more special drone types.

Yeh, he's enormous. Towers over the Sigmarite Stormcast, and they make Space Marines look titchy. I'm not quite sure what to make of that to be honest.

As for me, I've started highlighting the Dire Avenger's armour plate instead of the Guardians. It's just as tedious, except in blue. Bah!

I like him though, nice and big, makes for an excellent centre piece or boardgame piece indeed.

It's just a bit... odd. I mean the scale of him! He's like a 12' mega-giant! Unless of course AoS is more like 35/40mm figures nowadays.

Finishing up a color proof for a friend - Canoptek wraith in the Nihilakh Dynasty colors. The gold ended up rather amusing; if I hold the model upside down, it all looks the same color of copper. But if it's rightside up, the shading is more apparent, and it is clearly gold. Strange trick of metallic paints I guess. Going to wait until she is around to finish off the turquoise, so I can show her how to do that.

Otherwise, shading up the red on a Blood Angels Contemptor Dreadnought. I cannot believe how simple the model is. He's going to look really plain if I do not do a bunch of freehand on him...

AOS isn't differently scaled... it's just that the heroes, such as this Khorne guy (and Khorne in particular) are sculpted in such a way as to suggest that they are all brawn and no brain

That chap is so big that he is now hefting an old Minotaur Lord metal double-headed axe without looking particularly bothered. Which is... disturbing? But pretty cool too, I must admit!

Built my first Death Watch Kill Team (40k). 2 shotguns, 2 frag cannons, and a combi-melta/chainsword sergeant.

Cleaned, dry fitted, sub-assembled, and primed my 2nd UCM Ferrum.

Also assembled Ragman and Stryker 2 for my Cygnar, as well as fixed a Stormcaller that I finally found the parts for.

Primed the models in the Cryx battle box.

Finishing a Chimaera for a friend and beginning to build a bunker for my Mechanicum.

Hopefully finishing up my buddy's Wraithknight tonight/tomorrow... then on to my newest project: Charcaradons!!
