Trying to nail down the finer points of a Warlock for D&D 5th editon. Want him to start as a cleric or fighter and come upon his warlock pact on accident by level 2. He'd slowly get more distant, cold, and alien as he furthered his pact with a great old one. Problem is I can see three or four good starts/paths that appeal to me and each of which would not insignificantly alter the early to middle game playstyle and at least the initial personality.

Meh its fun to tinker but none of the mechanics are really making any one build stand above the others, and most of the back story stubs I've considered are interesting (to me).

On the plus side he'll need a custom model, not a lot of medium-heavy armored mage types armed with a shield and staff just floating around

The discussion about plastic Battle Sisters has inspired me to pull some of the old metal ones out and see if I can't get them presentable. My white armour technique is actually working quite well, will post pictures later.

Today I finished my two Warlocks and yesterday I finished my Iyanden Guardians. I'm hoping to finish the Farseer or make headway on my Dire Avengers tonight.

I'm plotting out my Kill-Team for my friends Deathwatch Campaign (inspired by the one that Miniwargaming did a few months back)

I'm putting a bunch of work into my Chaos Knight, as well as my Chaos Sorcerers. Having a day off sure helps me get some paint on stuff!

Gathered my Cyriss army for purchase. The value is about 860€. I'll try to sell it for 430€.

Planning to get at least some paint on my Dire Avengers and/or the Farseer...

Extracted all Cryx armies from the lists of the WTC event.

Repainting five tharn wolf riders (circle of orboros; WMH).
Repainting six iron fang pikemen (khador; WMH)
Repainting an ogrun bokur (WMH)
Painting and converting a full squad of iron fang pikemen (khador WMH).

This will put me up to 95% painted!

After this, I have the battle at calth box set and one of my mates was clearing out her sons closet, found a huge box of space marine stuff. And passed it all on to me. Guess I have a 40k army again!

Managed to finish the Dire Avengers' bodysuits and got the Farseer to about 75% finished. I want to get them done soon so I can justify getting the Start Collecting: Eldar box.

Oddly, Gen. Steiner, I just received some Spellcrow bits so I'll be starting to modify my Eldar jetbikes into Shining Spears (the bikes came in the Start Collecting box, not bad or $64!)

Two and a half hours spent searching for some Chapter pads and Wolf Guard Terminator bitz. No success.

Did find:

1. Spare Furioso Dread on the sprue.
2. An extra two boxes of Sternguard.
3. 15 vanilla Terminators, off the sprue, in a bag.
4. Unbuilt Lizardmen Blood Bowl team.

And I think it's officially 'too much' when you find not just a shoe box in your hall cupboard labelled 'Misc Forge World', but when you find another one labelled 'More Misc Forge World'.

I finished my Farseer.

Today I am at work, then going home to finish the Dire Avengers and have a long hard think about how I'm going to do my Fire Dragons.

I keep my poor finished mars attacks guys in their carry case because they take poor photos on their stock bases, so today is like to get them off of those and onto some clear acrylics.

I'd also like to arrange my battle systems into a 2x4' stretch of road and buildings, and then maybe get some zombies and survivors out for some photos. We'll see though.

Bought two copies of the September White Dwarf. Been making color copies of the cards it included for Warhammer Quest, Deathwatch Overkill, and Betrayal at Calth.

Finished up making copies/cards for B@C, Execution Force, Warhammer Quest and DWOK. Built one of the two slaughterpriests (2 copies of the SEP WD).

Seriously considering building the second one w/o Khorne iconography and doing some conversion to make him my plague lord for WHQ. I've got the card from a recent WD.

Picked up some metal rings to use for smoke clouds and Siege's Fox Hole spell for my Warmachine.

Going to make a big push on my Dire Avengers, try and get them finished today.

Waiting for new mini's to be shipped... I know it's stupid early on a Monday morning, but I want them to get here so badly so I can lavish all the attention on my new corsairs...

Still painting the contemptor otherwise, ans thinking of doing a librarian next to enter into the september unofficial painting challenge. Hm... now the question becomes will I have the time finish an HQ model up to standard in all of 1 or 2 weekends...

After work I will be painting the remainder of a skeleton horse unit and their multibase, which looks like a desert with a broken Ramses II statue jutting out of it.

Selling a huge seraphon/Lizardmen collection, and assembling/priming new unit of skitarii vanguard
