I have not gotten a fething thing since then.

They tease with an occasional "Update", but at this time, chalk it up as a loss.

Got an interesting (backers only) update on the Shattered Void Kickstarter. They had been using Prodos for casting, but due to experiencing multiple production delays because of this and the lack of clear communication from Prodos they're taking the casting back in-house.

My understanding is that previously Prodos had actually been quite reliable when it came to fulfilling 3rd party Kickstarters. I wonder if the delays here are due to the new priority in AvP KS fulfillment they announced three months ago?

Probably wishful thinking - I've still got jack! My bet is they've poured all their resources into Archon and getting the LOAD KS fulfilled on time.

I feel sorry for Necros. He has an awesome looking game but decided to use Prodos for manufacturing. I hope he's not been screwed over.

I don't feel sorry for him. Choose to do business with a dishonest person, and well, sometimes it bites you in the ass.

He knew what he was getting into. Maybe Jarek and crew step up for his project. Their involvement kept me from pledging, and I'm not the only one.

Indeed. I would have pledged for it quite hard, in fact. Alas...

Well, I'll trust the Shattered Void guys from White Dragon Miniatures. It'd a shame, I received their Prodos 15mm minis and reviewed them on my Heavy Gear blog. Pretty great detail. A shame that things have caught up on them like that.

Gangfight has acutally just posted 3D prints of his new KS stuff hot off the press from prodos

complete with integrated base for their unicast system

so I wonder if the issue isn't that all their effort is going into that so customers for non-unicast stuff may be experiencing issues that unicast customers won't

new update:
ADMIN.
An update of sorts from Prodos.
Our team is working on an expansion to the Hunt Begins board game, that is in the pipeline to be released mid of 2017, in the mean time there will be a new release of AvP game, called The Last Stand, that will have an extra PDF rules allowing it to be used as an expansion to THB.
The last stand is in 100% non-hobby product (no assembly required) and is designed with Board Game play style in mind.
Also, Unleashed rules should be available in a month time, our graphical team is working on it as we speak!
current AvP will be expanded in the future in parallel with Unlashed releases. There is about 15 additional designs that needs to be approved/sculpted and ran through production.
As for releases, any new release can be used in all 3 variants of the AvP products, THB, Unleashed and TLS.
BTW. We even have enough material for Mercenaries, and if we are fortunate enough to get an approval they will be available before next year Xmas.
I can not answere any questions to this but thought you gamers would find it good to read.
Best wishes.

So Jarek's past statement was a lie and the priority is not on finishing up the KS and even holding back retail releases until that was done. Shocking.

Hi all, this is not the full update, as I am away due to personal issues and I cannot reach key people to clarify few points. However, the official statement will be made on our website blog within next few days and here are the key points you may be interested in. Please bear in mind, non of the changed will affect Kickstarters delivery.
1. There is a changed in Prodos Games LTD management structure.
2. New management’s priority is to finish AvP Kickstarter delivery asap, and the route-map is created in order to finish it off:
a) new stuff is being employed to increase capacity for manufacturing and customer service in order to improve communication with backers and shipping.
b) new management decision was to cancel many external casting work to increase capacity to finish AvP Kickstarter, as you may know, every item approved post March 16 needed to be manufactured for you.
c) nothing will be release to retail until the last backer receive their pledges.
d) slow shipping in last 2 months was caused by :
-holiday period and sick absence
- low capacity (too much work taken on by Prodos – issue addressed)
- issues with pledge manager – Prodos team needed to go through each individual pledge, and confirm it with shipping goods as Prodos have received feedback about double-shipping the same pledge to several backers. (addressed by Prodos)
- we had yearly VAT check and need to take a stocktake, that effectively cut out two weeks from our manufacturing/packing capacity.
3. Prodos is looking into tokens issue. This can only be addressed post Kickstarter.
4. 3D terrain is in external supplier 3D print and will be with us within weeks, it will be revealed and send to backers as soon as we start manufacturing it (3-4 weeks at max).
5. Wargaming book, the work on layout for the book is starting this week Monday, the book should be manufactured within 60 days, you will be able to see a preview PDF weeks before it goes to print.
6. Remaining items – Clear Predators, Marines tokens and multi parts models are in manufacturing and the stock in build up for shipping.
7. PLEASE check your pledge manger for address and same and SURNAME for shipping!
Other issues not related with Kickstarter that won’t affect you at all are:
- post Brexit (customs issues that may affect EU and USA customers post Brexit, it wont affect backers at all, however its a valid point as it will affect many current UK based Kickstarters if not delivered within a year or so)
- Prodos HQ relocation to USA
- moving from GBP as main currency to USD due to unsectarian position of GBP post Brexit.

Not massive things I know but would have been nice to get them at some point!

The funny thing is have sold on a couple of things I had duplicates of (the basic marine sculpts) or no interest in (the predalien), put them on eBay for close to retail/buy it now, and they sold within hours - there is obviously the demand, so not sure what Prodos is playing at, perhaps just don't have the production capacity and have taken too much on?

Main problem is that backers don't know *what* Prodos / Archon's priorities are, so have no idea what risk to assign a crowdfunded project. I don't care how good these miniatures are, Prodos / Archon, GameZone, whatever. I have plenty of good miniatures from companies I *know* will deliver miniatures to me on time (I highly recommend Dark Sword miniatures). If you're wed to the IP (hello, Dr. Who), yeah, you're kinda screwed. Wait for retail, pay the extra money, and don't risk the drama, wait, and anger some previous backers experienced. LOAD backers got their stuff, AvP ones didn't. Does that mean backers of the next Prodos / Archon project will get high quality mini's without years-long delays? I"m guessing yeah, maybe. But, with the queue of miniatures I have to paint, I'm in no hurry to find out!

Actually, with the 40% off sales Prodos has, many retail backers paid less for items, and actually got them.

A diorama I made using a Prodos' AVP minis. I had been waiting for these to come out so I could start building dioramas. I pledged the kickstarter and was expecting the Alien Warriors but we all know how that went. I went ahead and bought some warriors on Ebay to finish this dio. I was also waiting for the multi-part marines for the sake of variety. Say what you will about the mismanaged KS and hollow promises but the figures are great and I'm not sure I did them justice with the painting. The APC is from Cinemachines which are still available at some Toys R Us'.

Derek Barry posted "I see that LOAD is now being delivered on KS. Seems to indicate that Prodos/Archon can deliver but that there are other holdups."

Jarek made an appearance & made these 2 posts
Jarek Ewertowski All games based on Fox licenses have been delivered by US companies, there's only one being done by European company, ours, and there always have been some disconnections on a line Fox UK to Fox USA, really can't talk about in much, because it's not worth it, however there is a reason why many Fox licenses are out here and not many games are being done,

Jarek Ewertowski Well I cannot talk, badly ?, about Fox for another 3 years, so let's say they have been so grateful to hold on on release of The Hunt begins for 8 months because they were so worry that we won't have nothing else from the cannon to piggy back sales on, how grateful, and another one is that they really care about the IP, and because an average work length in Fox is 6 months, if you hit the spot when there is a crew change you need to go through every bit of approval from start, meaning another round of changes, because now this predation is too fat :0 how awesome that they care so much about their IPs, no? Anyway it's all awesome.

Of course, this ignores that the problem is that they don't ship to backers. Nothing like seeing stuff you already paid for years ago cheaper in store to make you like a company!

It's just more of what I've come to expect from Prodos : excuses. It's always someone else to blame rather than their own mismanagement and incompetence.

They knew they couldn't screw over the Load backers as they did the AvP backers once the Archon/Prodos link was uncovered because if they did no-one would ever trust them again.

As it is, AvP is an isolated debacle, and blaming Fox seems a plausible excuse for those who don't know Prodos better and haven't experienced first-hand two years of lies from them.

Looks like another Christmas without AvP. At least one thing Jarek said is true : the change in management hasn't affected my Kickstarter delivery - I had nothing under the old management, and I still have nothing!

White Dragon have confirmed receipt of some of there masters after delays from Prodos, there are still a number to be returned if Prodos can be bothered. Also it has come to light that some other masters which were paid for and had been listed as done had not actually been done.

Prodos/Archon join mealstrom/mirece and new dawn/cmon as shysters and frauds on my list of places never to buy from.

Your last point is especially laughable and comical, because not only the 7th ed Valkyrie shown dumber things (like being able to throw the troopers without parachutes out of its hatches, no harm done) - Irbis

Jerak is a moron. This game is DOA, and anyone who supports them in the future just needs to point at his stellar track record as being the butt of all jokes in the gaming community as to his lost reputation. The worst thing about it- is that they did it to themselves.

BTW- I still have my AVP, base pledge minus add ons that shipped with the beginning KS, if anyone out there still wants in on this sideshow. Sadly, I have resolved that I will never see anything else from this game again. ( Too bad, too, seeing as there are like two or three more movies coming up this year...)

I will be contacting 20 Century Fox after the holidays.I want to discuss this product, The KS, and how this clown is smarting off about the subject and how it is impacting their ALIEN and Predator ip AND FOX reputation.

I suggest that you all contact them, as well. I think they might be interested in how their product IP is being tarnished. Especially in light of the upcoming movies coming out in the near future....

I'll let you know after the holidays how it goes.

I won't be contacting Fox, for a couple of reasons:

1. Nobody important will see it. You will get a canned response from automated e-mail or, at best, an unpaid intern that may as well be a robot firing of canned responses.

2. If by some miracle someone important sees it, I don't want Fox pulling the plug. That way I'm assured to get nothing. At least having the Prodos clowns retain the IP means there is some slim possibility of me still getting some more product in the next few years (or however long their contract is for).

Well that makes sense - I was wondering why I didn't at least make a token pledge for the predatrix, as I really wanted that model. Must have dreamt up it being exclusive after seeing the eye-watering asking prices on ebay.

Although FYI latest novels indicate little to no sexual dimorphism between male and female yautja, as opposed to the old Steve Perry notion that females were much bigger and tougher monsters or the pin-up ideal of "butterface" amazons (my preference).
