I rather like that new Ripper Bolgrot sculpt. I think the glasses work just fine (and it fits very well with the theme of "clever troll" that Ripper sort of fell into).

Vampires have been rumoured as the next team for so long that it's become a running gag on social media. Blood Bowl does certainly seem to be suffering from the Specialist Games team having a lot on its plate right now. I don't mind that they're catching up with the Star Player miniatures but it's been nearly 9 months since the last team release. Somehow doubt they'll manage to stick to the 'four teams a year' this time, though they may surprise us if there's another starter box with 2 new/updated teams.

From the teams of Legend, we're still waiting on Vampires, Chaos Dwarfs, High Elves and Khemri. GW will no doubt tinker with the rosters and add in some new positionals (which arguably wouldn't be the worst thing for Vampires in particular). Seemed to be some scuttlebutt a little while ago about the Kislev/Slann concept (i.e. the Leap meme team) getting added to the official rules in the form of Squig Riders but no idea if that has any substance.

We'll be lucky to get even one team in plastic this year at the current rate. I think they shifted most of the sculptors to the old world project and now they've got one person pumping out star players in resin.

I've wanted chorfs in plastic for so long though.

Vampires definitely need some variety. At the moment they’re just Black Orcs without the charm. I’ve previously suggested a degenerated guy with wings like the Warhammer Underworlds band. Dunno if that would give him the equivalent of Very Long Legs or a Pogo Stick but it’d be something.

Vampires are definitely good candidates for another player type, even if it's just splitting the Vampires into different positions as they're currently rather one-dimensional. Maybe even add in a Varghulf or something. With team-specific traits being a thing now, I can also see Bloodlust making a comeback rather than the current iteration of that mechanic.

High Elves were the latest made to order team to make an appearance, so I'm kind of thinking High Elves will be the next team in plastic.

Although I'm pretty sure I said this very same thing just a few pages ago.

But double star players like Grak and Crumbleberry, Dribl and Drull, the Swift Twins etc now only count as one star player choice. However they still take up two spaces on the team roster.

So one hand taketh away while the other hand giveth something in return. Hmm. Think I need to reread this FAQ again and plan accordingly.

I would expect chainsaw be mistake. Would be weird to do turnover on succesfull use. Thaj's like turn over with succesfull catch. Feeis they meant 2nd instead of 4th.

Yeah, the Chainsaw one feels like very much an error. As is tradition with GW, their FAQs typically need an FAQ straight away.

The also list both the Amazon Blocker and Blitzer as Blitzers as well. Oof.

This what I've found, is the most up to date list we have of star players. I however can't seem to find anything on that list unnacounted for. I will look again later.
