Sisters vs admech. 100-79. Pushed them off center objectives. Got perfect spot to rapid ingress Vahl & co who proceeded to kill 6 haywire things with character, ironstriders, ran to score tempting target, kill breachers and onager.

Finally remembered detachment rule and retributors got good use of crappy miracle dices with dialogus & triumph.

Zero units lost first 2 turns was pretty bad for admech.

Sisters vs mono slaanesh. Daemon chance was t1 when shooting failed to drop kos and had to attack in melee. Had 4+ fight on death succeeded suits likely dead. Instead Vahl & co took out all in her way.

We played another game of Grimdark Future: Firefight for the miniature game club yesterday. 2v2, I was playing Orks, which was allied with Chaos vs. Inquisition led by Attelus Kaltos and Karmen Kons from Secret War, and Eldar, led by Farseer Faleaseen of Craftworld Dalorsia also from Secret War. I got my butt kicked with some bad rolls, but the kids had a great time kicking my butt, so it was worth it, lol.

nice looking table, i just got the last of my 3d printed buildings from corvus games terrain for my table so i will have some infinity goodness up next week.

Whew 11 games, a very good game night.

In today's 3v3 game 3k pts of Khorne demons (+Belakor) attacked an UM/Custodes/Ork alliance of necessity.....
Much blood was spilled and many Skulls taken.
In the end, though they suffered great casualties, the alliance held out long enough for the Warp to reclaim the demonic onslaught. (They won by about a dozen vp :()

Bolt action game, Sectors mission that we played for the campaign. Was pretty much locked in the woods for the whole game but I managed to defend very well against bad deployment and side pick of my brother. He almost tipped the game in his favor in the end, pounding me with a T34. Hopefully, he didn't buy an artillery obersver in his list because otherwise my tightly packed army in the woods would have taken a beating for sure!

While waiting for LI to drop, some 2v2 Epic: Armageddon was had yesterday, as Death Guard legion and their Mech + Guard opponents drew a bloody stalemate. Some 12k points on the board.

Got in a ton of Shatterpoint this week. Only got pictures of the latter two, but really getting a feel on how to control the deck and scenario correctly:

I'm almost certain she was a proof of concept/test model. She's was a preorder bonus that's being tossed in a regular release later, but her scale and sprue is definitely different from the rest of the line. She's relatively simple and her sabers are a little thicker than the rest as well.

Set up a couple boards for In Country/INX by enemy Spotted Studios yesterday and ran demos/learn to play sessions. Used Rangers vs different flavors of insurgents. Started pretty simple added in smoke and grenades as players got comfortable (happens quickly with these rules).

Then the big battle 4K double team game-

custodes 7th/30K and eldar 4th VS chaos 3.5 with a 3rd party brass scorpion-

This was an epic battle, the eldar got worked over pretty hard, but the bikes just would not die-shining spears with farseer on a bike rocking guide and fortune.





A couple epic points-

the custodes dread in a lucius pod dropped danger close behind the chaos defense line and scattered 2" to the the edge of the table.



The chaos lord finished off the eldar superheavy flyer with a close combat assault.



Constantine Valdore showed up, and was boss as expected.

My games were all about the Infinity N2 marathon with my 3d printed terrain mostly from corvus. games terrain.

The first game was a djanbazan themed force VS combined army with 2 hackable objectives.






game 2 was a muyib themed force VS combined army. this was just a straight up battle.

Played a fun game of Grimdark Future: Firefight with the kids for my gaming club today. Not-Gaunt's Ghosts and Not-Dark Angels vs Not-Chaos and Infected Colonies. We couldn't finish, so will have to finish it next week.

My club is running a 6th ed Fantasy slow grow league at the moment. Thought I'd join in as I have a bunch of Vampire Counts and I always wanted to try Fantasy, although never got the chance as they killed it off just as I was getting into it.
Long story short, I had my first game the other night against a long time returning playing at 800pts aside. Another, very experienced player was running the match for us taking us through the rules and at its core, it's not nearly as complicated as I always assumed it was.


I actually remembered to take a consistent photos throughout the match for once. I never do for my Heresy games.
Set-up

The undead hosts move forward towards the living. While the handgunners start taking a toll on the zombies and skeletons.


After very narrowly avoiding having his head taken off by a cannonball the Necromancer hurries to join the Zombie unit. (landed an inch behind him)

The zombies move up, pinning the knights in place and after some very tense dice rolls, the Necromancer barely survives.

Help is near at hand though. (off screen: the ghouls have charged the flank of the spearmen)

The black knights and skeletons crash into the flanks of the Imperial knights (off screen: despite dealing more wounds then the spearmen, due to rank and banner bonuses, the Ghouls break and run)

And after 2 rounds of combat the Knights flee and run straight off the board with the black knights in hot pursuit.

The zombies and skeletons move up to destroy the cannon, while the handgunners attempt the hold back the tide.

Having destroyed the handgunners in short order, the skeletons lead by a Wight King set about chasing down the enemy wizard who failed a fear test. (ghouls keep running)

The ghouls ran off the board edge. Skeletons, Zombies and Knights reform. After a vicious combat the skeletons are maimed badly, but in the end the spearmen flee.
The black knights charge the lone wizard, but the wizard holds his ground and manages to kill the Hellknight in single combat.

6th ed fantasy! excellent!

The guard player had the tools, but he rolled so many 1s on his wound rolls with demolishers plasma and such.... still a good fight he managed to actually kill 2 custodes squads.

Got in some more Shatterpoint over the weekned. Getting a lot better and preparing for future struggles and having models in position ahead of time. Definitely wouldn't run this specific list again as Anakin, Secondary Obi and Primary Ahsoka all have powerful Force abilities with a high and just don't work well together.

I'm struggling what I think of Primary Ahsoka. All game I feel like she doesn't really do anything, but she was pretty much solely responsible for winning me the game at several points simply by being able to be where she needs to be.

New codex nids vs admech. Got blown pieces worse than I gave back but not a worry as i swarmed into middle objectives and beyond. 5++ r1 and +1 charges r2 gave max value.

Secondaries i got only slight lead but primaries 50-15 for smash win.

Hive fleet Isonade adopted unending swarm and crawled all over objectives. Dg had headache to not screw themselves by surge moves.

I got the 1st turn and managed to win primaries 50-30. Secondaries also solid giving 100-68 game. Toward the end too depleted to prevent 15 primaries.
