A box of 40k SM Centurions.

My grots killed & looted two of them this past weakend.
So I'm going to convert one into a Mega-Armored Ork Mek. Combi-rocket/shoota + tellyporta gun. Paint it blue (because they WERE UM) & make the Mek a Deathskull (they believe blue is a lucky color).
Not sure what I'll do with the other two....

Just managed to get my holy grail - the Over the Top supplement for the Warhammer Historical WW1 The Great War ruleset. Been chasing it for years, and always missed opportunities to grab it by a hair, but this time I finally managed to snag it. I'm not happy about the price I paid for it, but I wasn't going to take the risk of not being able to catch it again.

18" of electrical wire, 18" of very fine chain, several packs of really small eye hooks, & some other assorted bitz from the local hardware.
Oh, and a cheap bag of green army men machine guns.
Gotta make my grots some custom Kustom Mega Blasters & some tow hooks/chains.

I picked up a solid 2kish points of Blood Angels off ebay for 30% of retail. I haven't played space marines in years, but I couldn't resist such a deal. Now I just need to hope I can intercept the package before the wife sees it and she deals 20 mortal wounds to me

But then I asked, what about a vet squad? Where is the vet squad? And the Vet officer? Where is he?

So 15 Praetorians will be joining. I won't even think about what I paid... Esp since GW US was basically giving them away back in the day.

Picked up a terrain set from battle systems. It looks decent but requires “advanced modeling skills”. Since I don’t have those skills, this will also be my last purchase from their stuff.

Wouldn't it make more sense to put it together first rather than swearing off them sight unseen?

I have put about half the buildings together, so not exactly sight unseen.

It's ok, Kyoto. You don't have to have every Guard type.

I don't have Catachans, Praetorians, Valhallans, Vostroyans or Steel Legion. I stuck with Cadians (both types), Tallarns and Mordians.

I would need at least a squad of Steel Legion, Valhallan and Vostroyan (though I have a Vost officer and a bunch of sarges).

Which is not a huge project. I have my Necromunda/Catachan/Whatever Infantry hoard already and can just add them. It's not like I'd be committing to an army or each or getting 1 of each metal figure...

If you'd like to get more mileage from the SG crew, you may want to look at these metal alien heads from Sally 4th. They are from their recent KS to make Not-Star Trek alien heads.

Picked up the new Battlezone: Fronteris – Nachmund terrain box and an addtional STC Hab-Bunker and Stockades.

I'm a terrain junky. HAHA.

A Tyranid codex, cards, & the new Parasite.

Pre-ordered the Tyranids book, the cards and a box of Warriors to go with it (store was out of Parasite, strangely enough).

The Warriors will be my first box in years, all the 15 I previously owned came when they were released back in 3rd edition, so "old" sculpt of them, no swords, no Prime bitz, etc. Getting them to build my 4th Prime (totally needed I swear!) with a Venom Cannon for some fire support!

Unlike Batman, I broke my one rule: I ordered an actual printed Codex from GW. In my defence, the Hive Mind made me do it.

Now I just have to keep to my other one rule: Never ever buy anything from Forge World.
