Not just misshapen, but also kinda low detail.

So - another resin stop-gap kit?

No, it’ll be the old resin kit if it’s resin (which it seems to be). There’s a plastic melee kit scheduled for spring.

I think that's just a squad of Blackshields that someone threw together for pictures and not indicative of any model releases.

One thing I hope they do is re-release the old Blackshield transfers...

That was a great transfer sheet. Wouldn't mind some resin upgrade bits for some of those warbands either (i.e. shoulderpads with raised insignia).

Well that’s a relief. The release of those earlier stop-gap resin close combat weapons was a distinct low point for Heresy 2.0.

A little less impressive than the armoured one, if you don't mind me saying.

I love them. I want lots of them.

6 per unit is heaps. I wonder if it'll be 3 to a box. Potentially 42 in an army is a hilarious thought.

The heavy flamer one is going to be so amazing as soon as they remove reactions from the game

It's an alright kit, I hope the two pack is cheaper than two 40k ones.

I very much like these, the heavy version gives me the feeling of a duckling:

Also in case we didn't have confirmation where the rules will come from yet:
Rules for both kinds of Hermes squadron – and the larger Aethon Heavy Sentinel – will be found in the upcoming campaign book, The Battle for Beta-Garmon.

That is a dumbass design. I think even the AT-RT did the concept better.

The thing about 40k is that no one person can grasp the fullness of it.

Solar Auxila stole the Ash Wastes vehicle slot from Delaque it looks like.

These little guys aren't going to be fast moving scouts, they look like infantry support units. More mobile than rapiers, but small enough to fit pretty much where an ogryn or castaferrum dreadnought could

From a design point of view it looks pretty good. Particularly for a warhammer design, it looks like they actually put some thought into whether it can stay upright and balanced, as well as articulated the legs.
Given how impractical 'walker' type vehicles actually are, this is a cut above the usual nonsense.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

Article is constantly saying fast and scout.

The heavy one is more of infantry support ones.

GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units."
Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.

Wonder how easy it'll be to swap the crew over for an Enforcer torso? Every model being a Necromunda model after all, they would be perfect for riot control in the wastes.

You'd think putting the promethium tank behind the armor to not make it a big target would even cross the mind of an Imperial engineer. But maybe not.
