It's hard for me to get excited about shooter news, but it's good to see
that gaming is becoming more and more culturally mainstream.

Do you foresee Monday Night Football viewers becoming HALO freaks, though?

I don't think they're looking to convert the masses.

I think they're targeting the millions of Halo 2 players (and their friends that come over to play Halo) that haven't bought a 360 yet.

They're saying: "Haven't bought a 360 yet and you're thinking about a PS3 or Wii? Well don't forget there's another big reason out there to get the 360."


But the commercial was really the least exciting bit for me. The public beta of Halo 3 and new Halo 2 maps over two years after the game shipped are pretty big bombs.

I played Halo 1, it was ok. I like the story line alot but unfortunatly people around here only wnat to play sniper matches on multiplayer, some of whom havn't accually played the game

As a PC gamer I can't play Halo2, though I heard they considered putting it on PC, which would be great.

As for Halo 3 it would aslo be great on PC.

Public Halo 3 beta in 2007.

While I only get a small amount of time with my 360 (spending too much time working on my armies or playing FFXII), I will be on that like white on rice.
