For me it is sunny d and animal crackers.

Diet Mountain Dew and something without too much carbs or sugars (the crash is devastating to me).

1 can Dr. Pepper, pretty much every game in the last 6 years or so. For APOC games I up that to 2 liters of Mountain Dew (APOC I was Game Fuel, APOC II was Code Red), but it does run all day. Water when the soda is out.

I prefer to not eat while playing, partially for space concerns and also not getting junk on minis. That said I game Friday evenings mostly, so dinner is had pre-game - generally chicken tacos and/or pizza

You all and your wheat-thins and diet fruit juice

Im skinny too lol. Luckily all the fish/sausage and chips from the chippy (english takeaway) and ale don't ruin it for me. That and salt and vinegar Kettle chips (posh crisps).
Sooo good but so greasy. Custard creams make the list too.
Its not so much fuel as comfort food as I watch my army get pulled to bits by my friends Chaos gits.

I like me some pizza during games the odd time. Sugary, heavily stewed tea is also essential. Maybe the odd biscuit.

Ale is good during the summer evening games, when stout would be too heavy. McCardles for preference, though Old Peculiar is lovely. If we head out to the pub afterwards, it's always guinness. But only because the local pubs don't do any better stouts. I hate stout from a can.

Another skinny gamer here, dreading the day his metabolism slows down and he develops a beer belly.

Dont worry Boss. Im hoping I'll be like my dad n it won't happen till im 40 odd.
Old Peculiar is lovely. Im partial to a brew by Badgers or Fullers too. Or Harvey's the local brew.
Not a stout fan myself, but its probably only a matter of time.
Thanks the God's (Gork and Mork) for real beer.

Liquid really depends on what's handy.
Most common (in order)

Sweet Tea
Diet Coke
Diet (other cola or Dr. Pepper)
Sweet (with Splenda, not sugar) tea

Munchies depend on what we have.
Sometimes it's Hots & Brats, other times it's sandwiches, other times it's chips & dip.
My buddy's wife makes a Green Olive dip that is incredible.

Then dinner is whatever is fixed for us (she really is an incredible cook).

Sometimes, we get a desert a couple hours after dinner, too.

I think it might be important to note that "Game Day" for us starts Saturday at about noon and lasts until we decide to quit (sometimes as late as 4 AM). Three guys can do a lot of eating in 16 hours of gaming.

Apone: If I lived in the UK I'd drink a lot more ale, the selection is much better over there. Over here it's mostly canned or bottled. Stout tends to be the best on tap.
Indeed, praise the Lord for decent beer. None of your light beers for me! (Uuuurgh, bud light and coors light, rancid stuff)

I’m 32, and the belly’s started to arrive. :( Exercise is your friend. I’m drinking more light beer, though I still have a nice ale or lager (favorites include Boddington’s, Budvar, several of the Sam Adams varieties, and the occasional Corona or Amstel) when I can. I usually drink diet soda, vitamin water, Gatorade, or something similar when I’m gaming. Food is generally before or after. If I get really hungry, I’ll probably munch a small bag of chips (crisps for you UK guys) or a candy bar just to stop the stomach growling. And wash my hands before handling figures.

I read somewhere that the number one drink/snack combo of gamers (this includes computer/video gamers) is Mountain Dew and Cool Ranch flavored Doritios. If thats true than either yous guys is lyin or Dakka is full of "unique" gamers.

I hate Cool Ranch.

And while I used to rely on sugary caffeine when I was in college, I
realized that you had to keep taking the stuff to maintain the effect and
I much prefer the day long normal sluggishness of water rather than
prop myself up artificially with chemicals.

I would have guessed Mountain Dew + Cheetos myself. And then shudder as models the world over are obliterated by jittery, cheese powder-covered fingers

I drink water, and lots of it. I stopped drinking pop for all intents and purposes my freshman year in college, and haven't looked back. If gaming is starting in the morning, I'll often have a cup of coffee, or maybe tea, to go with it. For food, it varies depending on what I have. The last few gaming nights have coincided with dinner time, so it's been pizza or Chinese food, and probably an apple later on.
Sometimes Subway, just because there's one close to one of the stores I play at.

If it's at home, it's pretty much whatever. Guinness or a good wheat beer would be the beer of choice, but Killian's is usually more readily available.

Speaking of booze, I have yet to take part in a legendary "take a shot each time you lose / kill a unit" game of 40k. Perhaps when Wehrkind finishes the Battle Basement we can make that happen, including utilizing the sink conveniently located in the same room ...
