Here, there and everywhere...

As a big fan of the various GTA games, I was thinking of getting a PSP to play Liberty City Stories, but I'm not sure I want to cough up all that money just to play one game. Does anyone know if there are enough good games out there to make it worth getting one at this time? Or is the game going to come out on other platforms later?
Thanks in advance.

i don't own a psp, but i hear that you can do cool things with them by doing a little hacking.  with the increases in flash memory capacity it really makes me contemplate getting one to use as a media player as well as to run emulators.  other than that i wouldn't get one for the games and movie playing capabilites it now has.

No dont get the PSP it's just a waste of money, because most of the games released on it will probably be available to the other consoles soon.

I think the PSP might be cool, but not worth the current price tag.  If the price goes down, then it might be worth it.  If you are a gamer who travels a lot, it would definately be worth it.

Personally, I'd buy one of the new Game Boys first, simply because of the smaller price tag.

I?ve got a PSP they aren?t that great. GTA Liberty city stories wont come out on any other console I can assure you that. The graphics aren?t that and from what I?ve heard from a review it has only about 30 hours of playtime. I?ve ordered it and it was delayed here in Australia due to ratings  so I?ll get it soon, I can tell you what its like if you want?

..... well..... this is awkward.....

Its simple: If you want a handheld video game device and you like racing and sports games, get a PSP.

If you like puzzle games and other wierd tomagachi style games, get the DS.

Simply put, the PSP has by far the best graphics of any handheld. Paying $100 more for much, much better graphics/sound than you can get on either the PSP or the Gameboy is certainlly worth it IMO.

Now, what stops me from purchasing a PSP is the battery life. 4-6 hours doesn't cut it for me. I'm waiting until they put in an improved battery and I will buy one immediately.
