I had no idea BWG was getting that much traffic here on Dakka, only ever really see the N&R thread.

Not yet But this is something new. it's the official forum for the game, instead of me running my own on some cheapy not-as-good-as-dakka software. So the forum link on my site just links right to here, and people that want to chat about the game will have to register and join Dakka to post here

Fair enough, 'Not enough traffic' was the response I got about a Brushfire/OTL section back when the Malifaux, Mantic, and Infinity sections were added.

PM sent to you Cyporiean. This will be something that we open up to other startup games if the experiment pays off. Feb/Mar 2013 will be the date we start to open it up to others who meet the right criteria.

I think you guys def deserve your own little section. The game seems to be doing well enough, and its own section would be a great way to help more people discover it.

Also, great to see Blackwater Gulch getting its own as well.

Looks like we'll be doing that next year, assuming BWG goes well.

Staying on target.....

I am not interested in the game but this is really great to see smaller games get their own section. Hopefully it works out and other games get the same!

Good Luck Necros!

Nice one, will be hanging my hat in here on occasion, especially when that weird west turns up.

Well, there was never a forum for it before!

My question for Necros: How much closer are we towards seeing BWG models available at retail? Some folks are saying they haven't even gotten the goodies from the first Kickstarter, but we're already seeing posts about the new Weird West game. What is the new timeline? Are you managing to juggle it all?

The weird west stuff is just me planning ahead, getting my thoughts out, and also seeing what people want to see. It's a long ways off though.

For retail I've been saying "Late December or Early January" .. we'll be getting the original sets done and sent out to the Kickstarters first. I'm getting the original orders organized now so when we get the boxes in later this week Game Salute can pack em up and send em out quick.

The game looks cool and I think the weird west will only add another dimension to the game that makes it even cooler.

If someone wanted to pledge, how do they go about choosing which starter sets and bonus models they can get? How can you pledge and hope it reaches high enough to unluck the Tranquility Crew? Will there be a starter box that contains two starter gangs, the rules, and some terrain?

Good luck. I'm in the process of getting friends interested in it. We are currently playing a Rippers RPG (Deadlands for the Victorian age) and these minis would be cool to use for that as well.

My publisher Game Salute will be handling the orders for the new Kickstarter. Just make a note of which sets you want, and pledge for the amount. You can add any add-on items you want to your pledge total if you want anything extra too. When the campaign ends Game Salute will send out a survey and thats when you tell them what you want

Right now you will have to get the gang starter sets separately, but some day I hope we can do a 2-player 2-gang box set. I'm sure we'll get the tranquility crew done, and then some

When is Games Salute going to send out the survey?
Just curious because I havn't received one yet.

Should be pretty soon. it's not going to be the standard survey, they're building a Pledge Manager website that will make it easier to pick exactly what you want, add on the extra items you want and handle the shipping. Been testing it, looks like it's almost done now
