Seems to me Sony has screwed themselves over. Badly. Too bad too. Ah well, Gears of War is coming in November. I be happy.

This just in:
Russ has, once again, posted a negative thread about the PS3. Critics are asking if the record can be changed? Probably not.
In other totally unrelated news, Russ confirmed his utter and unyeilding fanboyish love for the X-Box 360. When asked if this had anything to do with his constant and incessant digs against the Playstation 3, Russ said 'Stop being a PS3 fanboy HBMC' despite that not being a valid rebuttal.

Hey man, I don't write it, I just link to it!! But yes I can proudly admit that I'm not only a X-box fanboy, but I'm a total Microsoft fanboy.
I'm also a recovering GW fanboy and a newly created Privateer Press fanboy.
Not sure I've ever accused anyone of being a fanboy, because, to be honest, I don't really see the problem with being one. If it weren't for fanboys, sights like Dakka wouldn't exist. I completly respect anyone who is dedicated enough to a thing to talk about what they like about it.
Whenever you'd like to debate the content of the article, and the relative merits of the PS3 and not talk about who is a fan of what, I'd be happy to do that too.
Malfred has made some great points, he likes the PS3 library better. Sounds like a good reason to be a PS fanboy to me.

Well, if you read the whole article you will see that it starts out rather negatively for the PS3 but then ends on several strong postive notes. I think its just a matter of who is saying what as to how good or bad the PS3 is going to hurt Sony.

I won't touch the PS 3 with a ten foot poll, but I'm sure as hell going to be getting me some of that Wii. Duck Hunt baby... oh yeah...

Oh yeah- Nintendo is definetly going to claw back some market share. I think they'd actually do better with the name Revolution instead of the stupid Wii, but the name isn't that big of a deal. I'll still call it a revolution I hope the Sony fails miserably and the Wii becomes king of all three systems. I know it's not likely, but that kind of shake up would only stimilate more growth from all the companies.

I'd get a Wii if I wasn't starting an Empire army. How can you go wrong with a system where the name is the same as what you're most likely to be saying during most games?

About that Wii.... anyone else notice any similarity between Nintendo's consumer relation skills and that of a large tabletop model producing company? That said, I believe it will take one of two things to save either company: an open ear or blind luck. or Mr. Gates strapping on the C4 and mailing himself to privateer press.

About that Wii.... anyone else notice any similarity between Nintendo's consumer relation skills and that of a large tabletop model producing company? I'd say Sony's PR crew is closer to GW than Nintendo. They are kinda resting on they're large market share and hopeing no one will notice the rising prices and lack of inovation. That said, I believe it will take one of two things to save either company: an open ear or blind luck. or Mr. Gates strapping on the C4 and mailing himself to privateer press. Bill probably already hangs out with the PP gang. They are in the same state, after all.
