Not that i'm ever going to get one (not for that kind of money, that is almost the cost of a pretty good upgrade for my pc). It just seems the close we get to the ps3 launch the more excellent games for the 360 are cominjg out (deadrising, gearsof war, huxley, alan wake, the list go's on) but microsoft is ramping up their live effort as well, we're seeing arcade wensdays where they release a new game every wensday, more videos (the RvB one and the upcoming battlestar one i've just read about in russes post) andf this new live anywhere thing. They also see to be further integrating the windows live and xbox live things together as well.

Right... also, the PS3 might, MIGHT encourage a drop in 360 game prices. Although I doubt it.

Do they really drop a game every Wednesday? I can barely play what I got.

Yes, 360 XBLA drops a new game every Wednesday. This started in july: Frogger, Cloning Clyde, Galaga, and SFII.

This last Wed was Pac Man.

The games all have free demos, and classics cost 400 MS points ($5 US) while new titles cost 800 MS points ($10).

According to MS, this will continue for the forseeable future. Next week is either Scramble or Time Pilot. I hope its Time Pilot, as its one of my all time Fav old school games!

Interesting reason for the PS3 launch, I wholeheartedly agree as I know once Gears of War launches I'm going to be spending a lot of time playing that on my friends 360.

The other reason to be excited for the PS3 launch is to see how bad it really ends up, I want to find out whether or not Sony's new machine will live or die.

Of course by PS3 launch time I will have gotten the Wii and will be in my own little world looking like an idiot swinging a remote control around . So I won't care about any of this stuff anymore anyway.
