Got some paint on my Puppetswar bugs, going for a natural, rough insect look. Certainly a change up from all the smooth blacks I've been working on recently.
Also figured out an easy method for sculpting scenic bases: GS over the base, press in with a button with some kind of relief pattern, and bam, instant basing! Got some pretty cool moonscape-style bases done for the bugs, might experiment with some other styles if I can find any other suitable 'stamps'.

Got my Space Wolves completely done and sourced some bits for a Chaos Lord on Daemonic Steed for Age of Sigmar. I have quite the little army forming up with the starter box set, a mounted lord and five knights and a daemon prince. I likely won't go past that.

Continuing work on a Mutalith Vortex Beast. Man, this is one helluva model. The price tag hurts, but it's frigging intricate and detailed as all hell.
Also started my basecoat on Archaon on foot.

Did some painting earlier today. I'm taking a break from my usual army painting and working on the Bones Cthulhu, Nightmare Edition Lord Chompy Bits and Dreamer, a mouseling barbarian, 3 bones hell hounds and an Anime Tactics model (can't remember her name at the moment, looks like a librarian).
Might go work on putting some Dreadball minis onto bases later, but then again, I might not.

Spent three or so hours musing over the idea of making a 6mm IG force for Epic: Armageddon.
Eventually invented this list without reading up on the rules, due to Rule of Cool:
Companies:
Super Heavy Tank Company (3x Baneblade)
Steel Legion Tank Company (10x LRBT)
Steel Legion Tank Company (10x LRBT)
Support Formations:
Thunderbolt Squadron (2x Thunderbolts)
Thunderbolt Squadron (2x Thunderbolts)
Storm Trooper Platoon w/Valkyries (40x Storm Troopers, 4x Valkyries)
Storm Trooper Platoon w/Valkyries (40x Storm Troopers, 4x Valkyries)
Rough Rider Platoon (36x Rough Riders)
Clocks in at slightly under 3k points, which I'm told is average for E:A.
Gonna use these minis:

Here are some of RiTides' mechs for scale. The ones I posted are mounted on 40mm, his on 25mm.
I am sorta bummed/nervous that they won't be a good centurion replacement. What do you guys think? If I mount them on a 50mm should I be good? (I currently have cents but, I don't like how they look unless I make them myself, so I am trying to replace the ones I have with better options.)

Want to see this when finished.
I have about 120 spears, and about 40 shields from the Thunderbolt Mountain 30mm Heavy Goblins.
And if I can use them for something cool... I would like to do so.

Is this Doom?
I have a friend who worked on Doom and Quake (did the artwork for the critters - Gregor Punchatz).
It looks freaking cool, in any event.

Yes, it's the Doom boardgame (the core rules of which mutated into Descent, and eventually Imperial Assault). I picked up an unused copy of it at a bring-and-buy for the laughably low price of 18 quid. It's based on the Doom 3 designs but I couldn't stop myself from trying to use the original doom colour schemes (because otherwise they'd all be depressing shades of grey-brown). Also, because original doom is still frickin' awesome.
