Looks like there is a 36 page booklet included in the GB box, so complete rules.
Now my only dilemma is that it won't be shipped until "after 8 July". I'm going to the Tacoma Open on 14 July so I don't know if I shouldn't just wait and buy one then.
Vs, them not having them there, and then being sold out on the website too.

Some minor rumors/news:
I recently talked to a person who at that time was working on the next two Spike! magazines.
Due to an NDA the person couldn't tell me any details.
When I asked the person if the next team was an old team, the person said yes.
However, the person wouldn't say whether or not the team after that would be an old team or a new team. So, I expect a new team.
According to the person, there were some logistic issues which caused a delay in the BB pipeline but next Spike! magazine should be released till September.
TLDR:
- at least two more Spike! magazines in the works
- next Spike! magazine is expected to hit in September (or maybe even August)
- next Spike! magazine to feature an old/legacy team
- the Spike! magazine after that might feature a new team (my guess)

Ohhhhhhhhhh boy. I am so excited for this, the new Star player seems like it is one of the regular 3 star player release schedule that comes with a new plastic kit.

Interesting! I heard a snippet that kind of lines up with that too, that a team of legend would be out before Halloween in October. With that star Ivan previewed wearing red and black, everyone thought the next team would be Vampires. Really people have been saying Vamps for a long time now.
Either way the news of two more Spike mags and possibly this year is good news for the game.
We all get bits of info from time to time from people who claim to know but I really do believe there will be another team this year.
Gutter Bowl was a bit out of the blue and that sold out I think. Blood Bowl fans are always ready for more lol.

They are going to need to get some more content out pretty quickly if they are planning on a 2023 Almanac for Blood Bowl.
And I know my small local group went wild for Gutter Bowl. It isn't mt favorite way to play, but we all bring our Sevens and Gutter Bowl pitches to game days now.

^I agree this year is looking really light for any almanac, if there is going to be one. Wonder if the last half or even quarter of the year will end with a bit of a flurry.
I like Gutter Bowl but it definitely takes the game in a different direction. Personally I prefer Sevens best for the Blood Bowl experience with shorter games. What's great though is we have a choice. Sounds like your local group are having fun either way, which is what Blood Bowl is all about!

^Thats a legitimate idea I heard before too. One theory was that next year would bring 3rd Season with 2 new teams. That they were saving new teams for 3rd Season.
Even if that's true they could still release a team of legend before.
I like the post by Seelenhaendler though about the Spike magazines being worked on and coming a little later this year.
It's fun speculating. Blood Bowl leaks don't happen as often as GW's other games.
When that Yhetee was seen 'in the wild' it was a big thing though as it meant a Norse team was coming too. I think at this stage the only official BB news is the Star Player Ivan coming and as he is in red and black it seems he will be coming with a new team too. Not all of the Sylvanian Spotlight Stars get to play on other teams as well.

At this point all I really want is for them to just pull the band-aid off and get the last Teams of Legend done. Really no excuse or reason for dawdling on them since 2016 when GW decided to finally care about Blood Bowl again.
As much as I like their new teams they have given us so far (Nobility, Black Orcs, Snots)... I would rather them just finish the Teams of Legend and make "Season Three" just a new rulebook that consolidates the FAQ and errata.

Season Three needs to make enough changes so that you can’t reasonably play just using the Second Season books. It’s important to force the players to worry that they will miss out on local gaming if they just stick with stuff they already own.

I just had a few beers with dinner, and am not great at holding my alcohol, so I will say I read this post two or three times before my brain registered the sarcasm.
Frankly it would be typically GW to event do a 3rd Season. Never before has one of their games LESS called for a new edition. The Living Rulebook was essentially a perfect game, and Second Season was an inoffensive way for GW to take back control while leaving a still functionally excellent game. I cannot fathom what they could do at this point with a new edition that wouldn't serve to make for a worse game.

Now I can't get it out of my head that a new edition of Blood Bowl will introduce social media mechanics for players.
Every player will have a "followers" rating on Squigger, the Warhammer equivalent of Twitter, which is a "Social Magic Platform", and the amount of follows/thralls/familiars/worshippers you have, the better your fan factor, but negative followers can cause all sorts of problems for players.
Dwarf teams won't use Squigger. They'll use InstaGrudge instead.
Automatically Appended Next Post: (I mean, not fun enough for the pain of yet another new, unnecessary edition, but fun enough to brew up some house rules for a league.)

If you are not cautious with your utterings on that network, you might get visited by literal trolls, and let's just not get into what sort of storms the 'online' nurgle followers brew up. Also, Skaven teams get a considerable bonus for their marketing activities because 'they're kawaii, uWu' according to our special correspondent from Nippon and Cathay. Secretly, the whole thing is a ploy by Malal to rise back into power, as it is pretty much perfect to foster the constant infighting and strife that he prospers on

You fool! What have you done? If they haven't already got a Season 3 planned, they will now

A whole team of what? The Dark Elf team is already very corsair-themed. The only unique addition to Kiroth is the mask, which is basically what makes him a Star Player.
