Goblin Doomdiver would be cool. I'll spitball some rules for one and say it lets him be thrown further by a troll using Throw Teammate, but each scatter is d3 squares instead of just one.

That would be interesting... a Goblin with a Glider.
I'm really hoping to get some Goblin news out of Forgeworld soon. Early rumors said April for Goblins... I'm doubting that that'll happen. Maybe the Bright Crusaders were bumped up to fill a gap? Who knows.

I think the easy swap parts are cool, at first I thought it was just the upgrade parts, but it appears the price also includes the plastic bodies. I dont play Blood bowl or buy forge world but isnt that unusual for them to also include the plastic with their upgrade kits?

No, it isn't unusual at all. Many of their vehicle kits are built upon the literal frame of an existing plastic kit. The Horace Herasy weapons kits are built for the plastic Mk III and Mk IV armor that comes in the Calth and Prospero sets.

Orcland raiders in May? What's your source? I'm on the verge of buying a second orc team to fill out 4 blitxers / blockers, but might hold on if theyre bringing another orc set out. i'm guessing this would be FW.

They'll be another resin add on/upgrade kit like the Crusaders, and presumably come with that additional plastic team as wel.

Possibly old news, but even so worth repeating.

Grak and Crumbleberry will be available at FW Events, not just Warhammer World.

I've bagged two. One for me, one for a friend

I know they were at Adepticon. Had friends who picked some up there.

I'm also off to Warhamsfest around this time next month (I'm a busy bunny!) and would be willing to pick up Grak and Crumbleberry for others

The new alternative teams for Humans and Orcs slightly solves some duplicate problems.

You'll have the same poses, but at least with some different heads/armour.

But what about the color schemes? Would you paint Bright Crusaders in same colors as Reikland Reivers to get full positionals in matching colors? Or make different colours for more variety, but then it would look odd to use additional blitzers/catchers from the other team?

As somebody who's been to Salute a few times as a reference, is Warhammer fest worth it? I enjoy GW's games and miniature aesthetic but would a trip to Warhammer World be a better investment in time ?

I don't care about the star players so much, what I need is to get someone visiting Warhammer World to grab me one of those exclusive Special Play cards.

This year’s Warhammer Fest will be a great event for fans of the glorious game of Blood Bowl. Not only will the event be playing host to a competitive Blood Bowl tournament, it will also be the first place to pick us a selection of great new miniatures.

We can show you a few of these today, which will be on the way soon from the Forge World studio.

One of these is the first of our team booster packs.

The Skaven Team Booster gives you four more poses for the most used players, and is designed to fill out your Skavenblight Scramblers core team (a collective “Squeak” of joy can be heard from Skaven players the world over at the prospect of more Gutter Runners).

Grim Ironjaw also makes his debut in this edition of Blood Bowl, with an imposing new miniature – that hair alone looks like it could blitz it’s way through some teams…

These are just some of the new Blood Bowl miniatures that will be on sale first at Warhammer Fest, and followed soon after with a general release. We’ll also have some miniatures for a brand new team and a couple of new star players that have never before been seen on the Blood Bowl pitch.

Skaven seem decent. A good way to add a little variety to the poses without impacting the easily recognizable game piece nature of the models. Not super wowed by them but they're nice to have as options.

The jumping gutter runner is particularly good.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

The Skaven extras are cool, might grab the Gutter Runners for Mordheim is they're not obscenely priced. That Slayer though, bleugh, I just can't love the pinhead anatomy of the newer Dwarfs when it's applied to Old World staples - Dwarf heads should be hideously large, anything else just looks wrong.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Scalping implies making a profit, not supplying at cost

Now that dwarf slayer I totally love. Much better than the floating beard pose ones.

The skaven with the eye-guard is phenomenal and tempts me to go rats.

The dwarf is clearly failing at being a star player since he's not holding a ball.

The Skaven aren't blowing me away but maybe I just need to see them painted. They actually look like plastic models rather than resin to me, the details just look really soft.

But I'll buy them either way, need the extra Gutter Runners for my team and the Storm Vermin looks nice (though I don't like the pose, looks like he's in some sort of dance battle).

It's kind of odd they bothered to do a 2nd thrower and 2nd Blitzer since you get 2 in the plastic box and you can only have 2 on a team anyway. It's nice to get alternate poses and all, but surely they should have done something like this for Orcs or Humans first who are really lacking in poses for positionals.

The Skaven are excellent, the Stormvermin looks like a reimagined Split Tendoncutter.. will certainly be after him for the Underworld Creepers team once Goblins show up.

Grim Ironjaw is also another auto buy for me.
