What is this Army?
The 146th Bormanian Infantry Regiment are a veteren regiment raised in the Sekkuva System. Hailing from the feudal world of Bormanus, this fierce regiment is organised into 10 companies of 200 men each. These companies are known as Grupa Fola or "blood bands" as each company comes from the same clan.They worship the Emperor as a brutal warrior god who defeated death itself.

Background
The regiment's homeworld of Bormanus is a world of cool temperate forests and peaceful galdes. Vast grasslands stretches for miles providing ample farmland. Many millenia ago, after the Horus Heresy, the planet was a peaceful feudal world with no knowledge of the Emperor or the Imperium. Each year, the five great Clans would meet and trade in an area known as the Bone Glade. It was a sacred area were the clans would meet and trade. One year an Ork Rok crashed into the northern forest, disgorging thousands of ork boyz. The Bormanians were a fierce warrior people but simply could not fight the green daemons. Thousands of simple grox herders died in a 5 year rampage that followed. Assembling at the Bone Glade, the clans put aside their differances and united to defeat the ork invaders. For many centuries the world trembled and shook beneath the tread of marching feet, the warcries of ork and savage man. Nearly a thousand years after the orks arrived, a battered imperial guard regiment made planetfall. The Guardsmen did not expect to be greeted by a large battle. The savagry and hatred of the natives impressed the Guardsmen who set about destroying the orks and ordering the world. The High King of Bormanus pledged 1000 warriors to fight for the Imperium. Cities and towns erupted all over Bormanus and many churches and cathedrals exhulting the Emperor's name dotted the land.
Why I started this army
I checked dozens of articles all over the net and couldnt find one Irish Inspired Imperial Guard Regiment. So i made one. This army is inspired by irish names, gods, political systems and also i just felt like it.
