I often change the Lists because of my different opponents.
I always like to use an Autarch just to get the better reserve roll. He is very good to customize too, many attacks, good shooting ability.
the farseer is a must have. I think I dont need to comment this.
I like using cc units! banshees against sm/csm and scorps against orks / tau. as many as possible and boosted with an exarch.
as standard dire avangers are very useful, although guardians do their job aswell.
standard army:
hq
farseer with some nice powers
probalby autarch
elites
1- 3 units banshees with exarch
standard units as shielding!!
i dont like fast attack, so they are not in use, too expensive.
1 unit grim reapers
wraithlords or fire prisms...
up to 1500 Points
we are often playing special missions as Apocalypse or planetstrike. in that case i am using tanks as well :-)
Why I Started This Army
some years ago, a friend of mine and me were talking about the Eldar story. I was thinking about how to build up my army and how to paint them. I didnt want to use the standrad craftworld colorscemes. first al my units were cleant white, with some artwork. but then i decided to combine the eldar with deamons and csm in apo matches. The Eldar created Slaneesh and they are praying to the bloodhanded god = in some kind Khorn?!. So I added these units to my collection and started to paint my units some kind of dirty looking.
In the story I wrote for this craftworld, these Eldar try to enter the realm of chaos to get their fallen souls back and free the universe by destroying the enemy. For that, they have to compromise the enemy forces. Theydo so by painting their Helmets in chrome and use special psi stones. These act as mirrors to the enemy, so they think they are talking to each other. This is the Harleqiuns job, as one can see on the pictures, I have transformed dirfferent aspectwarriors to harlequins.
