Greetings all. I've been aware of the 40k universe for a while (mainly the computer games) but never thought of playing the tabletop until my housemate started to get into it. He had some old Space Marine boxes needing to be assembled and painted. With those in my hands I was all ready to assemble myself a Dark Angels 5th battle company, sticking pretty close to the canon. I bought myself a black reach box, quick assembled it and then played a few games with housemates. I played both Space Marines and Orks, we threw in some "this unit actually has this wargear" or "this base is this unit for this game" here and there. After those games I had no choice, the Waaagh! got the better of me, the Orks were too fun to play. I am now assembling Da Dread Pirates, a gang of freebootas wreaking havoc from one en' of a ooniverse to da otha. I have a couple of friends starting to play as well. I've painted a few models and they have turned out well enough to not discourage me from continuing. Ready and excited to learn about this awesome universe.

Current models owned (and wargear represented on them) Black Reach Orks 18 Boys (slugga/choppa) 2 Big Shoota Boyz 1 Warboss (Claw, Shoota/Skorcha, Bosspole, 'eavy Armor) 3 Deffkoptas (TL Rokkits)

Regular Orks (or modified Blackreach) 3 Claw Nobz (w/sluggas some with poles on the models) 5 Big Choppa Nobz 1 Waaagh! Nob with slugga 1 Nob left which will likely become a painboy after a date with some green stuff
