Trying to get ready for the big Dystopian Wars game my group and I are playing next Friday. I WILL have everything painted!!

Hmm, that banner looks pretty solid. Still inclined to make my own, I'm stubborn like that May wait till I have some nice deadzone scenery put together to make for a more dramatic back drop

If I get time today, working on my junk pile has priority, although I may play around with my clear bases if those come in.

Painting Bad Moonz Meganobz.

I absolutely loathe painting yellow, especially on metal models, but they will look totally boss when i'm done.

This weekend i added 4' x 4' more to my city scape table, and painted it's basecoat.

Tonight i'll be basecoating some tau ... haven't decided if i'll hit more infantry tonight, or start in on the hammerheads.

The Riptides are still a little intimidating, i want a solid plan of action in place before i nail those bad boys.

Metal and metal highlight (probably runefang and whatever)
Gray and gray highlight
Lazy leather highlight on various wraps and ropes
Black on the base rims to cover up mistakes

Primed most of the Dark Angels set from Dark Vengeance:

Librarian
Tactical Squad
Deathwing Terminators
Ravenwing Bikers

These, along with another tactical squad (painting in progress) and 2 Dreadnoughts make up my first 1k Dark Angels list. Had 2 sets of AoBR marines that I had never done anything with so thought I'd put them to good use.

Also trimming backpack mold lines from Chapter Master and another Tac Squad before these are ready for priming.

Shudder, I hate doing the mold lines on the back packs, its such a pain =/

Need to add a few bits to my junk pile and get some paint on it.

Got the base coats down and the first bit of shading done last night on the fallen aquilla terrain piece. Plan on finishing that off tonight... then who knows. I have a bunch of Chaos Cultists I still need to paint. That may have to happen.

Finally fired up the airbrush and basecoated the rest of my Red Hunter army. 20 Assault Marines, 10 Sanguinary Guard, 10 Vanguard Veterans, 4 Characters for a 2000 point army all a smooth coat of Khorne Red now. They will be my holiday down time paint project. Being a construction contractor there is the inevitable down time for my regular work so I'll fill it with a commission painting project and the Red Hunters for myself. Seeing that they are entirely jump infantry based from the Blood Angel book they will probably never see a victory in 6th...

Unpacked some models from Blue Table Painting. Ordered some new Battlefoam Trays for them.

So far I've painted the flame model for an Assault Enforcer, and done the basecoat and sword blades for another 3 Assault Enforcers. Don't wanna overkill it, as I need something to do tomorrow, and I only brought 6 models. I brought 10 last week to work and got nothing done. 6 come along this time and 1 is done, 3 more are half done. Gotta pace myself.

Hehe, finishing projects can be rough, I've been super unproductive after my last batch.

I've been working on my Ogres a little. Touching up a few of the old ones, and a bit of work on the ones that are newly gaining paint. My wife bought me some sheet styrene yesterday so I've also been making some custom movement trays for their KoW units. Of course, the cat is now sleeping on that chair so I'm unable to paint for a little while.

Three posts actually discussing projects in a row have been Mantic. We're taking over, boys!!

Well in that case... If I get the chance today, I'll be re-basing some corporation marines onto clear acrylic disks. And maybe looking into making some extra steel warriors cause its a thing to do.

I've also been working on a hoard of mantic zombies for my VC army in between other stuff. Love their undead line.

Selling everything I have, buying the Tau firebase support cadre and researching colour schemes. It's that sort of sad, sort of exciting type of hobby day

Finally got around to priming my Daemon Prince, scrubbed some GK I had soaking in simple green, and finished flocking the bases of some CSM that I painted a while back... not feeling motivated to do any 'serious' hobby stuff today

Won the local tournament with my DE

Will be building the stuff i bought with my prize money tonight

finishing the weathering on my Typhus/plague marines squad

Two things today for me:

1) Work on a Infinity Article/thread that I got a good start on, but need to finish up.

2) Also finish up 2 Allegiant Solos and 1 Vassal Mechanik for my Menoth Army.
