You have some fair points there. One can wish though?

Hehe, I want a bit of everything, but yes I want more aliens for my collection

Prodos has confirmed that if you in the survey get an "extra" pledge level you get 2x stretchgoals.

What does "get an extra pledge level in the survey" mean?
Say in the survey that you want this pledge level and the other one and get the free items of both?

This is what Prodos wrote in the comments of the KS after a lot of questions for clarification

Crikey: If you are pledging once for 2 Pledge amounts (e.g. 2x£75=£150 for 2x we're in the pipe) you get the pledge add ons twice.

Exactly, basement. It makes it a little more complicated for the survey, though, which is why I'm simply having a friend make another pledge for me. You'll have to pay shipping twice, but if we hit 2000 backers you'll get a second free model for being another backer, so it evens out. Otherwise, yes you just specify in the survey that you're taking a second pledge level.

If I use these for nids, I'm hoping it's big enough to be a Tervigon if mounted up on a rock, or at least a Carnifex. The rumored base size certainly makes it sound big enough, but it's hard to know until we see something for it, which I don't think will happen for a while.

@RiTides
If I have enough dough I am considering a base game and the £100 level to pick and choose
2x stretch goals certainly makes it more worthwhile than just going for the £155 pledge. At this point in time anyway.

It does, but also costs 20-30 pounds more doing that (well worth it, imo!). They're going to get us no matter what but that's alright, I want to give them money and they want to give me aliens, it's a perfect match

May already have been answered, but is there a way to get an extra Predator Berserker yet? I was looking at getting the 2 boxed set pledge (the £210 one - I forget the name) and splitting with a mate, but unsure as we'd both want the KS exclusive figure.

Probably ebay. They've described the figure as a "free thank you", so I dunno that they're going to make ways to get extras without splitting boxes.

You only get ONE set of stretchgoals/freebies with ONE pledge, even if it contains 2 boxes. The only thing you get more of are the face huggers that are per box.
If you want 2 Berserkers you are better off doing 2 pledges --> 2x stretchgoals.

People really seem to like them, and I agree that as objective markers they are pretty sweet. But for purchasing a model I think there are other items I am more interested in.

But yeah, if they replace the objective markers in the box, that's a win

The eggs are cool, but I can buy the Horrorclix queen with a half dozen eggs for $8 U.S. I'm not sure the Horrorclix queen will match up to the Prodos Aliens, but the eggs should work just fine.

The eggs look good, but I think I would have prefered lots of closed eggs. Maybe 6 total with 1 or 2 of those partially opening.

It feels like the eggs and facehuggers should have been in the starter from the get go but were removed to pad stretch goals. I suspect a future stretch will be to get some free in the starter.

Yeah, I think I'll be going with these instead- 6 for £5.50:

That said, I think the above models might be a little bigger than they should be at actual scale, but that doesn't really matter to me.

So, probably going to allocate my pledge elsewhere than eggs at 4 for £10, but that's no biggie plenty of other things to get.

Edit: Went ahead and ordered 2 sets of the above in case the kibosh gets put on them by Fox, etc . Although since these have been around since 2009, I think they should be fine.

Yeah, I realized that but thought other folks might want to know about the option, too. I didn't go put them on the KS page or anything!

Besides, anyone who gets the above "alien birthing pods" will need a QUEEN from Prodos to go with 'em

Given the likely cost of the Queen, she'd better be able to actually lay eggs.

How much do you think the queen will be? I'm guessing between 40-50 pounds... hopefully 40 or 45 instead of 50, as that's starting to get into silly money territory.

If the base size is 100mm, that makes it worth "big model" cost to me, but really hoping it's under 50 pounds as that's $80

I didn't realise they were eggs They look like turds with raspberry jam on top, resting on a bed of seaweed.

Nothing against Dark Art Miniatures, they make great stuff.
But it is a bit unfair to bash Prodos for actually paying for the licence, isn't it?

If by "bash" you mean "give them hundreds of dollars of my money", then I don't know . It's actually not the price that gets me on the eggs though, although those others are cheaper- I just prefer closed eggs.

Since I'll be using these with nids, and might not use the facehugger models, having eggs without the facehuggers coming out of them works better for me.

Lots of folks love the model shown, though, so I think they'll sell lots of these!

Yup, need LOTS more closed eggs. Perhaps another set of five closed eggs...

I don't follow there; they seem a lot less interesting and less fun to paint.

Stop giving Prodos ideas The Queen is going to be £30 tops! And I hope the tail is molded in a soft plastic/rubber with a bendy metal pin inside.
