Tacticals were present on day 1. Then they teased us with the helmets/shoulder pads but wouldn´t deliver. Pathetic behaviour. You either release the stuff or don´t mention such products at all. It always boggles my mind how quickly GW fan boys crawl out of the woodworks to defend shady business practices when even they know that the suits in Nottingham hate their guts.

My point is people wanting things like the shoulder pads on day one, when we had an entire range of basic things that needed transferring to plastic first. Not saying no one should want things, but saying that NOT having those things one day one is asinine really is daft. The fact they've gotten out so many vehicles already considering this is a new plastic range is already good enough, especially with the amount they are putting out for other systems.

They have to spread their releases over the whole year for marketing, production and cash flow reasons. So while I understand the want for everything released at day one, it's not realistic.
And hey it's out for just 4 month and we've got a lot of stuff. And I'm sure there are people who will be happy enough to supply shoulder pads, if you can't wait any longer.
I personally prefer the release of plastic, Kratos, Sicaran, Rhino, Predator, Leviathan, special weapons, heavy weapons and I do not know what and have the release of Legion shoulder pads spread out to fill the gaps.

You can try finding a third party retailer cool enough to carry Direct Order items. Their restocks are for sure even more sporadic, but stock does tend to linger longer.

Happy to see that my local Warhammer store now carries some Horus Heresy items in store. It was a bit odd that they were keeping them as direct/flgs only if they want the game to thrive and survive.

And per the article the Predator variant will be pre announced for preorder tomorrow...really enjoyed the one Deimos Predator I have painted up.

Keeping things in stock would be awesome, oh and not making MK3 and MK4 direct order only.

With direct order stuff, some LGSs won't order them, because they get a smaller or no discount. Its a weird business decision because its basically 'be lazy and make a customer unhappy' (and thus even more likely to shop online rather than in the store), but it happens.
On the other hand, some of local stores have been complaining a lot about GW just not fulfilling orders on some things, despite the number of times they call their rep, so the last couple years have made things more complicated.

What kits you wouldn't have put out yet to get more shoulder pads instead? Predator, land raider proteus, solo contemptor. Those not available yet and couple more shoulder pad sets available. Better?

To be fair, the only people who hate GW fans more than the Nottingham suits do are other GW fans. This entire so-called community is constantly fracturing across new faultlines of mutual hatred and loathing.

Assault Marines, Breachers, Consuls and other Infantry-ish stuff would be more important than stupid shoulder pads...

More to the point, the shoulder pad sets are resin, so they shouldn't take production timeslots away from plastic kits. We've already seen them used as a kind of "filler" between larger releases so that WarCom always has something to talk about on Thursdays, so it seems likely this will continue until all 18 Mk6 sets are out.

You're not being very coherent. If your resin FW model (which you did not mention before) came with doors that don't fit it, write to FW and they will sort you out. If you're asking if Rhino doors fit on a plastic Spartan, then no, why would they, Land Raider doors fit on a plastic Spartan.

If you have chapter specific doors then rhino doors goes to rhino sized vehicles. If you have land raider sized vehicle you need(no surprise) land raider doors.

Are you expecting to use knight weapons on warhound titans?

So you are saying you didn't know Land Raider Armoured Proteus comes with Rhino doors and not Land Raider doors.. Well, it does. It would of course be logical to assume that Land Raider doors fit Land Raiders, but this is GW, so that only makes sense most of the time, not all the time.
